www.chesapeakebaysportfishing.com Who likes Maryland’s charter fishing on the Chesapeake bay? This isn’t headline news but I have to report this to all those that like fishing and are looking to book a Maryland charter fishing trip. My good friend “Capt. Rich” as we all call him runs two sports fishing charter boats in the Maryland charter fishing service and I have to tell you the captains and mates made the voyage so much fun and exciting I had to take a minute and write this. We not only had fun but the large fishing boat was comfortable carrying 39 people with plenty of room to spare. I never expected to catch so many fish and my wife had a blast. I was a little surprised how much fun Maryland charter fishing was. Go over to there website and see some of our video footage of the Maryland charter fishing trip and learn how you can book a trip for you and your friends. Tell capt. Rich Brian said hi. You will have a blast, I guarantee it!

This video was brought to you in part by: REGULATOR www.regulatormarine.com This is a sneak peak to future short clips of a fishing trip me and two friends took this past weekend on July 11, 2009 to Ocracoke North Carolina. This is the first of many fishing videos to come on my new to me used 2006 Sea Foam Green Regulator with twin Yamaha 150’s. I have always loved to fish but I have found a new passion for offshore fishing. The video camera did not do the trip justice even in HD because the water was so crisp clear and beautiful. We where catching dolphin fish also known as Mahi Mahi. We used light tackle to cast to schools of smaller dolphin known as schoolies. At first we found some floating debris holding a school and caught 3 or 4 about 4 miles out headed 120 degrees on the compass leaving Ocracoke Inlet. After they caught onto our game… Me (Stuart) the Captain decided to head another 2-4 miles out heading the same 120 degrees. About 6-8 miles offshore with Ocracoke barely visible we stumbled onto schoolies with no debris in the water. There where about 50 or so per school. They where all around the boat. We could have limited out easily in another hour or two but we where pressed for time to get back the boat dock on the Pamlico river. All of the dolphin on this video where caught with light rods and yo-zuri lures model Crystal Minnow Magnum. More Fishing Videos coming Soon! My neighbor brought me some bluefin today, Boy it was yummy.
As he was telling me his fish stories for the other day. He told me something that got me thinking. They had a nice Mako in the spread chasing his lures, while tuna fishing. He also talked to the mate today that he fished with two days ago. Today they had a big Mako sky and eat his Big Bird teaser.

I spoke to guys down there that last year had big makos swimming along the temp break eating bluefish like a fat kid in a tasty cake factory.

So How come no one really targets them slobs down there. I like tuna too but nothing gets the blood pumping like a missle full of teeth sky rockets off the transom.
I’d imagine you might not make many friends drifting the breaks with the tuna boys trolling, But hey I think there’s one very successful shark troller one this board that has a few books on it and i’m sure it would work down there.

So whats the deal guys?

Frisco Rod and Gun fishing report 2-20

Fishing Report 2/15
A little windy and cool. The winds were from the north east at 10-20 mph and highs in the mid to upper 40’s. It’s been rough surf fishing this winter. I have nothing to report. No boats offshore today, very rough.

fishing Report 2/16
What a nice day. Sunny skies, light south east winds and highs in the mid to upper 50’s. No fish from the surf, but the weather is looking nice for the next few days. Offshore the bluefin tuna action was really good. A few blackfins caught too.

Fishing Report 2/18
What a warm day. Highs were in the low 60’s with mostly sunny skies and southwest winds 15-18 mph. No reports from the beach today, but I’m sure the puppy drum are still around with the warmer temps. Offshore fishing is still really good. Nice bluefins being caught, some over the 73 in limit. Those fish are in the 250 lb range and up

Fishing Report 2/19
Another warm sunny day. West winds 10-15 mph and highs in the low 60’s. Only some dogsharks from the surf. Offshore the bluefin action continues to be really good.
