This video was brought to you in part by: REGULATOR www.regulatormarine.com This is a sneak peak to future short clips of a fishing trip me and two friends took this past weekend on July 11, 2009 to Ocracoke North Carolina. This is the first of many fishing videos to come on my new to me used 2006 Sea Foam Green Regulator with twin Yamaha 150’s. I have always loved to fish but I have found a new passion for offshore fishing. The video camera did not do the trip justice even in HD because the water was so crisp clear and beautiful. We where catching dolphin fish also known as Mahi Mahi. We used light tackle to cast to schools of smaller dolphin known as schoolies. At first we found some floating debris holding a school and caught 3 or 4 about 4 miles out headed 120 degrees on the compass leaving Ocracoke Inlet. After they caught onto our game… Me (Stuart) the Captain decided to head another 2-4 miles out heading the same 120 degrees. About 6-8 miles offshore with Ocracoke barely visible we stumbled onto schoolies with no debris in the water. There where about 50 or so per school. They where all around the boat. We could have limited out easily in another hour or two but we where pressed for time to get back the boat dock on the Pamlico river. All of the dolphin on this video where caught with light rods and yo-zuri lures model Crystal Minnow Magnum. More Fishing Videos coming Soon!
