Red Drum Tackle fishing report Buxton 9-26
Bluefish, pompano, black drum, spots, and sea mullet were reported on south seashore and up off Avon nowadays. This afternoon the grass move back on the level and chase Grumpy off the seaside. In the audio, speckled trout, puppy drum, flounder, and bluefish are hitting live finger mullet. I have not heard from the inlet about grass, but I do know that spanish are currently being seen. If the grass moves out, the drums ought to becaught.
Rain, rain, go absent! Saturday commence up with Bob
At times you just enjoy it. 8 pm final night and only one particular buggy on the entire seashore and of course the yearling were biting. So far this early morning there have been no reviews besides for rain coats and the want of umbrellas. Seems like it is hoping to distinct a tiny
Saturday Fishing Report
People who did not let the rain quit them, caught Bluefish on equally sides of the Stage today. Pup Drum, Bluefish, and Spanish at the Inlet. Tons of massive Spanish off the level yesterday but the grass won out. There ended up Spanish caught off Ramps 34 and 38. The A single Armed Bandit reported Spanish getting caught at Oregon Inlet so they are still about and this S/SW wind must keep them right here for a while longer – Grumpy.

Monday fishing report by Dan
A 43 inch red drum was landed this early morning on the southside of the level. Bluefish, pompano, and black drum were also reported today. Some bluefish had been landed on lures, but most were caught on mullet. A tarpon was hooked this afternoon, but was lost right after the initial leap and a almost spooling the 7HT Daiwa crammed with braid. Finger mullets are working the beaches, so have your cast nets ready.

Although it has been a wet day we have had some great fishing studies. Nearshore we have had catches of blue fish and spanish mackerel. The offshore fleet had a really productive day with nice catches of blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, dolphin, and even some bigeye tuna! As for the sportsfishing offshore we had releases of white marlin and even some sailfish. Considering that our boats have to fish from various locations we be dependent on them to send us images of their catches, so ideally we shall have images tomorrow.

Even with the rain we are even now fishing, and people that have went have been rewarded. Our offshore fleet had superb catches of yellowfin tuna, many reported limits. In addition to the yellowfin bite offshore there have been loads blackfin tuna out there for people who chose to target them. Nearshore we had catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish. There ended up some great pictures taken by some of the nearshore parties right now, maybe we will get some of those pictures sent in. With the rain it is doubtful we will get photos of the offshore catches.

OIFC fishing report 9-25
Will, John and Chris drove down from Raliegh skipped out of function for a couple of days for some inshore fishing and golf. The fishing could have been much better. We blew an hour and some transform chasing these jettie reds but could not get them to bite. We came back down the ICW and began finding apart the docks.

Okay — here is the deal. I know a lot of you have been observing our site waiting to go fishing till the fish started biting. I will not 50 percent blame you, although it does place a lot of strain on us to discover fish all by ourselves- a lot of floor to cover. The largest thing slowing a lot more fishing has been the lack of Kings it has been tough fishing for them this Summer time. But, right here is the fishing offer appropriate now that will hopefully get you heading and on the water
We have been fishing100 ft to discover Kings. I fished that depth Saturday and had entertaining with Wahoo and Sailfish, but no Kings. I was disappoined in my hard work, but also encouraged as I found out that there has been a good bite in 50 ft of water at spots these kinds of as the 390s…. Also there has been a beach bite going on in close proximity to the Cherry Grove pier. Up towards the Cape Fear the bite has been slower with a number of fish coming off Yaupon, but the water is rather dirty up that way and motion is slower. This will transform.
Further offshore, the Gag Grouper bite has started to just take off. Fishing 60-eighty feet has been creating limits of Gags in the ten-twenty pound assortment for our latest 8 and ten hour charters.
There is a ton of bait along the beach as well, so dwell bait fishing should not be a dilemma.
Which is the report. The ocean is coming to existence and it is time to get on the h2o. This coming weekend is the US Open up King Mackerel Tournament, so come on down and fish the tournament — quit by the OIFC for all your fishing requirements, we have them.
See you here.

Jingles Bait and Tackle report Beach Haven 9-26
Mon Sept 26th
The fog is in and out this early morning with a minor swell on the seaside. King fish and blue fish are both currently being caught this morning.
Warm early morning with a temp of 69 on its way to 80. There is a little bit of fog and no wind this early morning and the ocean is in the lower 70s.
These days the weather conditions male says we will have sunshine ~~~now that is frightening due to the fact he calls for rain and we have sun.
ALL FLUKE Ought to BE THROWN Again AS THE Season IS CLOSED.
It took a even though this year but king fishing this weekend was remarkable. The are eventually here in figures and in size. Fish-bites (bag of worms), gulp worms and genuine bloodswere the ideal choice for these good consuming fish.
The surf also has little bluefish on mullet and a number of modest bass have been caught on several baits.
For the folks anchored up chumming for blowfish there are a number of great kings in the combine. If you are fishing off the beach some there are croakers and tiny weakfish.
Sun Sept 25th
Some good reviews coming in from the overnight chunkers of fifty-60 pound tuna.
Nowadays is the last day that you can hold fluke.
This morning it is 68 with tiny wind and the ocean is 70.
Boy we have truly been fortunate with all this rain they have been predicting for us. We have had small to none or maybe a tiny drizzle. Stunning rainbow very last evening with a wonderful sunset.
Once again rain is predicted for afterwards in the day so for now get out and enjoy some fishing. Tons of tiny fish but you are catching. Just take the youngsters to the seaside so they can catch too.
Sat Sept 24th
Remarkable day on the seaside for small fish. Plenty of motion for fisher people right now. The fish appeared quite territorial right now with king fish taking more than some seashores and other individuals with non-stop bluefish. Both varieties had fish that have been a mix with some keepers on the kings.
Boaters had some croakers and weakfish on forty five-sixty feet of h2o. Weakfish were up to 15 inches.
This early morning the seaside had smaller sized bluefish but there had been king fish lovin fish bites.
It is 70 degrees and we have a WSW wind about 5 and the ocean is hanging in there with about 70 degrees.
So far in this month of Sept Mother Naturel has thrown us all types of points to preserve us absent from catching fluke. Little craft warning for seas are to go in to influence right after 11 am nowadays. There are a handful of fluke currently being taken from the surf but difficult to get a keeper. Good luck these last two days of fluke 2011.
Final evening just before the downpour that we had there was a good deal of bait once again on the front beach alongside with all the bluefish.

Grumpy’s Tackle fishing report Seaside Park 9-26
Monday, September, 26, 2011 at 3:13AM
Although we heard of some keeper Bass, none of them created the journey to the scale. The one-three lb blues were on the seashores in power yet again. They appear to be prefering mullet yesterday but the tiny metals accounted for a lot of the action. Double your enjoyable by using a teaser on that light rod and obtaining these scrappy fish two at a time!
Regardless of obtaining it absolutely mistaken two days in a row, the climate idiots are still making an attempt to get rain to take place – Mainly cloudy in the morning…then becoming partly sunny. A twenty percent likelihood of showers. Patchy fog in the morning. Humid with highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds all around 5 mph… becoming southeast close to five mph in the afternoon.
The a single excellent issue about Mike becoming mistaken is the joy it brings everyone else.

No wonder every person about me is miserable (Grump particularly)simply because as my wife states I′m always proper.
I had so considerably enjoyable this weekend watching Grump squirm each and every time a women t shirt went out the door at the blowout price tag of $ 3.99 I′m going to hold the sale heading !!!!!!!!!!!!

Appears like yet another good fishin day!
The rain in yesterdays forecast by no means happened and I assume much more of the same right now. We had buyers that wore themselves out with the tiny blues. A single consumer fishing the regional seashores arrived back again twice for a lot more mullet. We had 3 far more Bass weighed in and I heard of a couple far more that never ever produced it to the scale? Want to have some entertaining? Get off the couch and bring your light rods and skinny steel!
The forecast for yesterday never happened so the weather idiots will check out it once again today – Cloudy with a 50 % opportunity of showers. Humid with highs in the mid 70s. East winds five to ten mph.
Mike does not have to be concerned about what men and women feel of him – they dont do it very often!

Two Days Left To Fluke!!!
The Fluke season ends Sunday so get out and get em although you can. Indeed, they are nevertheless finding them in the surf. Gulp and a bucktail jig is all you need. Ray Seifert weighed in a few of great Bass he caught for the duration of the rain yesterday (lending far more assist to my concept that the fish are not frightened to get damp!). The tiny blues are all over the place so deliver that light rod and some modest metal. Stick a teaser on it and get em two at a time. We proceed to get Bass weighed in every day with extremely light seaside attendance. I ponder what it would be like if a bunch of fishermen showed up?
The evil weatherman even now thinks he can scare the fish with a tiny rain – Cloudy with isolated thunderstorms. Scattered showers. Locations of fog in the morning. Humid with highs in the mid 70s. Southwest winds all around five mph…turning out to be south in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent. Get the raingear – some of the best fishing is on cloudy/rainy days.
Mike definitely is not two faced – If he was, would he be wearing that a single?

Ray Seifert continues his sizzling streak! Talked to Ray yesterday and he advised me there was loads of motion down by the jetty. I typically bust grumpys chops about the saying ″no fisherman equals no fish″ but I now feel it. We had a lot of fish yesterday and hardly anyone was out there. The mullet is nevertheless pouring out of the inlet and the bass had been right in them yesterday.. Tons of tiny blues to go alongside with them……Ray
