OIFC fishing report 9-25
Will, John and Chris drove down from Raliegh skipped out of function for a couple of days for some inshore fishing and golf. The fishing could have been much better. We blew an hour and some transform chasing these jettie reds but could not get them to bite. We came back down the ICW and began finding apart the docks.

Okay — here is the deal. I know a lot of you have been observing our site waiting to go fishing till the fish started biting. I will not 50 percent blame you, although it does place a lot of strain on us to discover fish all by ourselves- a lot of floor to cover. The largest thing slowing a lot more fishing has been the lack of Kings it has been tough fishing for them this Summer time. But, right here is the fishing offer appropriate now that will hopefully get you heading and on the water
We have been fishing100 ft to discover Kings. I fished that depth Saturday and had entertaining with Wahoo and Sailfish, but no Kings. I was disappoined in my hard work, but also encouraged as I found out that there has been a good bite in 50 ft of water at spots these kinds of as the 390s…. Also there has been a beach bite going on in close proximity to the Cherry Grove pier. Up towards the Cape Fear the bite has been slower with a number of fish coming off Yaupon, but the water is rather dirty up that way and motion is slower. This will transform.
Further offshore, the Gag Grouper bite has started to just take off. Fishing 60-eighty feet has been creating limits of Gags in the ten-twenty pound assortment for our latest 8 and ten hour charters.
There is a ton of bait along the beach as well, so dwell bait fishing should not be a dilemma.
Which is the report. The ocean is coming to existence and it is time to get on the h2o. This coming weekend is the US Open up King Mackerel Tournament, so come on down and fish the tournament — quit by the OIFC for all your fishing requirements, we have them.
See you here.
