Point Runner Charters Oregon Inlet fishing report 4=7
This was the final likelihood for us to get a photo like this in 2011. These days was the ultimate day of the rules allowing us to retain one particular bluefin beneath 73 inches per day and also maintain one particular large above 73 inches per year. That’s why we introduced residence this wonderful pair at 72 and 76 inches. We had hooked a much bigger large this early morning and spent about and hour heading in reverse attempting to regain line prior to the massive fish pulled off.
Now, in their infinite wisdom Marine Fisheries has determined to restrict us to retaining one particular bluefin below 59 inches. We could also maintain a single 27-47 inches. The new slot limits go into impact on four/2/11.
Now I want we had kept that 92 incher we launched a couple of weeks back.
Thanks for checking in.

Carter Ball, Tyler Gill and friends joined us nowadays for some Bluefin tuna catch and release. We had been hoping to land 1 below 59", but all the fish we caught have been 200 kilos or much better. 1 boat caught a blue marlin these days.
Many thanks for checking in.

Went down to the boat to consider treatment of a couple issues and turned the vhf radio on to see if anyone created it out. Two boats braved the windy seas and were rewarded with good bluefin tuna fishing. Content to report equally boats ended up coming in with their two slot fish plus 1 is also provide home a mako shark.
Don’t miss this incredible fishing, with a great opportunity to carry property some meat.

Right now was tough, raining, and pretty miserable but Wade and his crew hung in there and we fished all day. I thing if it had been a little calmer we would have had much better day. We did catch some blackfin tuna, wahoo, and amberjack. Hoping for some rather weather soon.

What a beautiful, but breezy day right here on Hatteras Island. Not numerous people making an attempt their luck these days. The wind may be the purpose! Acquired a contact from guys fishing Hatteras, pondering if it was just as windy here in Buxton. Yep, it is. They didn’t see or catch anything at all. I’m thinking it should bust loose Soon!!! Wishful thinking Desire I had more to report, but it is what it is…… It is very good to be back
Tuesday’s Report
Welp, not significantly of a fishing report to communicate of. How ’bout a weather conditions report??? It was very a storm that passed by means of today. We had a nice downpour followed by cooler air temps. The outlook for Thurs- the weekend seems great. My guess is we’ll see a handful of drum caught by the finish of the weekend. Plenty of SW winds will give them the nudge we need!!!

Wednesday Mid Morning Report
Nicely, looks like the water temps have finally made it. Had two clients in a moment ago who have been on the north jetty and catching bluefish each cast. The blues have been 18 inches or so and I am glad to see them.
Take a appear at Rutgers and you can see the drum all above the place.

We had a number of boats go out right now they all caught numerous bluefins, but they have been all too large to maintain. Hopefully tomorrow will deliver more compact fish. In addition to the bluefin releases we had a blue marlin release and dolphin caught.
