Release Sport Fishing Hatteras fishing report 7-17

The northeast wind arrived up nowadays and it received quite choppy. Fell Williams and his crew ended up difficult and the weather did not bother them at all. We caught some good gaffer dolphin and had some opportunities for blue marlin and four sails but woman luck did not want to shine on us. We will get them up coming time.

Nowadays was a rather wonderful day on the ocean with a easterly wind around 15kts. I had some of my great buddies from more than around Pantego, NC and they had been excellent anglers. We ended up looking for some billfish but I just could not find some hungry ones. We did catch some good dolphin.

The wind fell right out to light southeast this afternoon. Lindsey Efland and his crew from Durham did a great task jigging these amberjacks and dolphin. Also caught a handful of blackfin tuna.
