Bogue Inlet Fishing pier report 7-18

seven-18-11 …… MONDAY …… We have a TARPON! ……

Saturday night was pretty frantic about here DEXTER BARLOW (Swansboro, NC) and CHRIS PAUL (Wilmington, NC) fought a TARPON for two several hours, and last but not least obtained it to the pier! ………… The unique intention was to CATCH &amp Launch the fish, but because of to the volume of time in the fight, the fish was dead by the time it obtained to the pier. …………. The determination was built to deliver it up, and it drew quite a crowd! …………. It weighed in at 100.two lbs and was awarded a citation the subsequent morning. ………… In other fishing news, POMPANO and SEA MULLET are hitting on the bottom, and for the prior few of days, we have noticed some nice BLUEFISH, mostly on GOTCHA PLUGS and Reduce BAIT …………. also, congratulations to PAT BEASLEY (New Bern, NC)–one lb. 15 oz. POMPANO …………….. We’re hunting for a warm-up this coming week, nonetheless the real warmth is not going to be with us till subsequent WEEKEND! ………… the drinking water temperature is at 81* ………… See you quickly! ………….
