Outer Banks Fishing Report 9-28

Here is your Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Financial institutions Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

What a beautiful day. The sun was shining and the winds had been relaxed out of south at 5 mph. The temperatures had been in the mid 80&#8242s. We had some great fishing from Cape Level. Bluefish and a handful of pup drum ended up caught. On the Frisco seashore some bluefish and sea mullet have been noted. Down at Hatteras Inlet there was a good bluefish bite on metal and finger mullet. There had been some sharks feeding on the bluefish close to shore. Only a handful of boats fishing the Pamlico Audio. They had great puppy drum fishing. Offshore fishing continues to be excellent. Wahoo’s and yellowfin and blackfin tuna are becoming caught.
