North Carolina reports 9-29

Spanish and Bluefish at the point this morning. Blowtoads, Black Drum and Spot on South Beach. A lot of tiny Bluefish powering the Motels. Speedo is fishing in his key hole at the Point hoping to catch a Drum but no information from him yet. The rain has ultimately stopped and cooler weather on the way ought to make for some great fishing in advance – Grumpy.

FISHING REPORT – 9/28/11

Our offshore fleet returned on Wednesday with fantastic catches of gaffer dolphin, yellowfin tuna and blackfin tuna. The nearshore boats had excellent catches of albacore and spanish mackerel. The folks that ended up hit the hardest by Irene, in Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Stumpy Position are in desperate want of resources, men’s socks, footwear, perform gloves and insect repellent. If any individual has any spare products detailed previously mentioned, please drop them off at the Catastrophe Recovery Center, or right here at Oregon Inlet Fishing Middle, and we will see to it that they get to the recovery center. Offshore we had a few boats go out, it was a beautiful day. Wahoo catches continue to be great and a few Yellow and Black bout Tuna are getting caught.

A single boat out enjoyable fishing in the sound caught a few keeper &quotPuppy&quot Drum

Hi All!
We are acquiring things back again on line! We are all set for rod and reel orders!! I think the store will be all set to go here in a week or two. I hope the road will be prepared too!

We have a lot of trout and drum in the audio, and tons of blues in the surf. I have manufactured it out when and we just had a few little blues here in Rodanthe. I hear lots of spanish and pompano from down south.
