It’s looking more like FALL FISHING! ………… As we dip into the higher 60’s and reduced 70’s we must see fishing on the improve! ………. SEA MULLET, SPOTS, SPANISH MACKEREL, SPECKLED TROUT, and an occasional POMPANO and BLACK DRUM have all been landed this week, despite the fact that not in the numbers that we like to see! ……….. Congratulations to JIM GREGORY (Cedar Position, NC)–1 lb. 14 oz. SEA MULLET …………. NUI VINSON (Jacksonville, NC)–one lb. 9 oz. SPECKLED TROUT ……… and CHARLOTTE BECK (Rolesville, NC)–COOLER of SPOTS ………….. A big wind shift is in retailer for us commencing tomorrow we will see SSW winds transforming to NNW- NNE by early weekend. …………. The h2o temperature is up to 78* proper now, but really should commence to drop soon! ……….. The 2011 NC SEAFOOD FESITVAL is this coming weekend there are plenty of festivities planned and BIP is obtaining a Loved ones FISHING TOURNAMENT in conjunction with the FESTIVAL! …………. The entry charge is $ 5.00 for the SATURDAY &amp SUNDAY BOTTOM FISHING Tourney, and there are 6 classes of fish that are qualified! ……….. Leading PRIZE for the largest eligible fish is a 2012 BIP Season Pass! ………. So come on down and get pleasure from the pier ………. WE ARE Open up 24 Several hours! ………… MIKE STANLEY
