7-twenty-eleven Outer Banks Fishing Report
It was a hot and humid one today. Gentle South west winds at five-ten mph and the temperatures have been in the upper 80&#8242s. Very good fishing at cape stage nowadays and sure you can push to get there. Early to late early morning there were great spanish mackerel and blue fish becoming caught, mainly on metal. Some sea mullet and spots were also caught. The Frisco seaside had a number of sea mullet and blues on bait. The Hatteras beach locations and inlet region had very good blues and spanish. Some flounder, spot, croaker and sea mullet had been caught up and down the seaside. The Inshore boats had good catches of speckled trout and blues. Some great keeper flounder and a handful of gray trout. Offshore nowadays they had superb dolphin catches, good wahoo and some blackfin tuna. Several sailfish and a white marlin have been released right now.
