We had the Blue Sky, Nauti Woman, Massive Kahuna , Christy II, and Critter Gitter crews trolling deep and the Early Bird crew did some reef hunting. They ended up with a wonderful load of Tuna (31 complete), a few of Dolphin, and couple of of Wahoo. The Early Bird crew located some Sheeps head and a few of great flat fish. Good job men keep it up!

Wrightsville Beach, NC Inshore/near shore Fishing Report
I hope absolutely everyone is savoring some of this warmer weather conditions recently and now if the wind would just lay down a little bit, we go fishing even more! It will not be extended prior to its ninety degrees and no wind at all. For these of you who are loyal readers, Im sorry for the break in regular fishing reports, I have been really occupied this winter season with seminars, fishing colleges, tackle sales and my fishing journeys mixed in also. Im back again now and will maintain the fishing reports coming bi-weekly as normal. Here it this weeks fishing report>>>
The Redfish and Black drum bite in the ICW and creeks just off the ICW has been very good. Im starting up to see a number of more compact Reds 14 to 21 in some of the creeks on warmer days a number of more than slot fish blended in as well. Most of the reds and black drum are hitting mud minnows and fresh as you can get shrimp. I use two hook bottom rigs with 2, 1 & 1/ bait holder hooks, with the refreshing shrimp, when fishing for the black drum and reds. If you would like to go the synthetic root, I would recommend employing scented grubs. The best luck baits have been Berkley Gulp and Berkley Powerbait shrimp in colors Pearl, Molting and New Penny. Jigs heads for the grubs in one/8oz to 3/eight oz, hues red and black seem to be to be the trick. Workem sluggish all around docks and drop-offs on grass lines and oyster rocks. The very best tides have been falling or raising but fishing closer to the lower parts of the tides.
One thing that I enjoy to do this time of 12 months (late March to early June) is go up to lock & dam #one and fish for Shad. These fish are so a lot enjoyable to catch they operate, leap and run some a lot more. Mild tackle and fly fishing is the identify of the sport right here! I see so many folks fishing for shad use to hefty of tackle. Lighter tackle equals a lot more bites and much more fun! All you require is a mild rod and reel I use a Pflueger Echelon combo PFLECHSP502CB2 loaded with 6 pound Berkley Fireline crystal braid. A two shad dart rig with Fifth teen or twenty pound mono or fluorocarbon leader darts in hues pink and green. On our final journey we caught nicely over fifty shad. If you have not ever before attempted it you need as well! Also while your shad fishing you can set out a catfish line and at times catch a quite good Blue catfish.
Untrue Albacore fishing has been very good the days I can get out for them. Im obtaining the Albacore from five to 20 miles offshore. There has been a couple of Bonita combined in with them type time to time as effectively. It need to not be prolonged before we are catching good numbers of Bonita close to the region waters. The # and #1 pink flash, silver and gold Clark spoon has caught most of our fish recently. Trolling these spoons on #one or #two planner with thirty to forty ft of forty pound Berkley massive sport mono as leader on the planners is the way to go. On the bird rig for the floor fishing I rig it with 5 to six ft of leader to the spoon. Dont forget to set a ball bearing swivel on the bird and planner this will keep tangles from happing (effectively most of the time!)
When the Bonita and Albacore are on top feeding solid Maria and Sea striker jig-spoons. The shades that appear to perform the finest are pink, green and blue. I use a forty pound Fluorocarbon leader about fifth teen to 20 inches long. I really like Strens tinted (gunsmoke) fluorocarbon leader materials for apparent water circumstances this things genuinely works! A light fat 7 rod and a Penn Battle 3000 loaded with ten to fifth teen pound braid is crucial for casting to these fast fish. The purpose for this is the more you can solid equals a lot more chances you will hook up. When there are a lot of boats chasing the Bonita, they get wearer of boats. If you can cast farther you will catch much more of these fish!
Fishing Gear we use:
Reels Penn Fierce and Battle spinning in sizes 2000, 3000 & 4000 sizes.
Line: Spiderwire Ultra-cast and Berkley Fireline braid in eight, 10 and 15 pound. Rods: Fenwick HMG GS 70M-MF, Unsightly stick lites 66 and 7 Med & Med-Hefty. Leader material: Berkley Massive Video game mono & Fluorocarbon. Stren Fluorocarbon leader content in Tannic and Gunsmoke tints tannic for river and stained waters, gunsmoke for clear h2o purposes.
Many thanks for looking at this report, if you have any questions just allow me know! If you would like to go fishing drop me a line Im booking now for this coming summertime fishing time and dont forget to get a kid fishing!

SE NC Report: red and black drum hitting, more fish in the mix
A great deal of black drum have been caught as that bite heats up around the bridges and other construction. Some of the guides have been employing reduce soft-shelled blue crab to wonderful influence on equally black and red drum. Minimize blue crab is a wonderful black drum bait, although most folks catch them on cut shrimp.
The red drum have been hitting since the stop of fall and are now breaking up from the massive backwater universities to roam close to framework and in the marsh grass and more substantial inlets. Some can also be caught in the surf now. Redfish will hit the very same baits as black drum but can also be caught on live minnows like mud minnows and finger mullet as properly as the scented synthetic soft baits fished on jig heads.
Bluefish are now present in the surf and off of the ends of the piers and this bite will get considerably better as drinking water warms. Blues will hit any all-natural bait on the bottom despite the fact that practically nothing beats fresh bloody lower bait for them. They will also hit Gotcha-fashion pencil plugs from the piers and this is a exciting way to fish for them. The best colors for the Gotcha plugs changes day-to-day despite the fact that red heads and white or gold bodies are difficult to defeat most days.
Flounder are in the inlets and around structure though with the new fifteen inch dimensions limit there are a whole lot of throwbacks. Flounder like dwell minnows on the move, drifted or trolled slowly via the inlets or fished all around pilings, rocks and creek mouths. They are just as effortlessly caught inshore appropriate now using the scented soft baits like Gulp lures on jig heads cast to construction and hopped little by little on and off the bottom. Again, colour preference can range but flounder are inclined to actually like pearl white fluke and shrimp-design grubs.
Speckled trout are an on yet again/off once more fishery mainly in the mornings inshore but keep in mind we are nonetheless in a closed period right up until at minimum mid-June and it is catch and release only. Trout will hit live shrimp and minnows although with it getting catch and release there is genuinely no explanation right now to fish for them with nearly anything but the scented soft bait lures. Specks adore the color green but also are usually fond of chartreuse, white, and the electrical chicken shades on their soft baits.
The piers are also viewing action on whiting (sea mullet) which are greatest caught with fresh cut shrimp or Fishbites artificial bloodworms. The surf is keeping some flounder, some bluefish, whiting, and dogfish sharks and skates. Correct now surf fishing is best with the freshest bait you can get, whichever it is. The bluefish action need to get a good deal greater as the water keeps obtaining warmer.

Charleston, South Carolina: Haddrell’s Point report
Redfish proceed to be a staple(and readily obtainable) for the lowcountry fisherman appropriate now, being found on flats in scaled-down schools, beneath docks, and along rock piles. Stay shrimp, mud minnows, crab, lower mullet, and several artfiicials these as Gulp! shrimp and ZMAN chatterbaits are all sound baits of alternative for the reds. Just spoke with Capt Mike Waller from Kiawah, and he documented back from yesterday the initial catches of bonnethead sharks this 12 months. Capt Mike also documented some quite nice sheepshead and black drum being discovered on the nearshore reefs. Trout have even now been spotty, with very best numbers becoming caught on stay shrimp and DOA shrimp along shell rakes and the jetties in four-7ft of drinking water. Flounder have begun showing up in our inlets, and sheepshead and can nonetheless also be found inshore about hefty framework, eagerly awaiting a fiddler crab.
Offshore:
A number of days of climate window has permitted us to get in some much more studies from the offshore trolling aspect lately. Capt. Bobby aboard "Daymaker" charters fished up north near Georgetown hole a few days in the past and documented back a great catch of blackfin tuna, with many being around or above thirty#’s. Also had several reviews of some tiny to mid sized dolphin getting caught so far, along with a few wonderful wahoo, but no massive numbers as of nevertheless. In standard spring trend, the gulfstream is consistently shifting in and out and there has been no "set" location absolutely everyone is running to Key into temperature breaks, weedlines, and existing rips (these usually run hand-in-hand) for very best good results early in the period.

LAKE LANIER IS FULL, THE CREEKS ARE SLIGHTLY STAINED AND THE MAIN LAKE IS CLEAR & 60 DEGREES.
Spotted bass fishing is good. A good majority of the fish are ready to spawn as the females are very fat. The fish that are being caught are coming off of point, breaks and humps where the fish are making their to the shallows. Work any of the spawning areas in the back of coves and nearby docks specifically the ones that have poles and underwater crossbeams for structure. Target areas should be deep water docks and points, breaks and humps. Also the reef markers are great areas to pick apart with the Zara Spook Jr in bone. Fish that are being caught Mini Me Spinnerbaits, Yamamoto Senko in a white or green pumpkin, white Zoom Flukes and a Fat Albert green or white grub. Zooms finesse worm rigged on a light spot sticker will work also. Use the green pumpkin color as well as the curly tail grub in the Zoom Fat Albert. Small jigs around rocks will work and the Strike King Bitsy Flip in the black and blue, brown or the green and brown color rigged with a brown, black, or green pumpkin chunk Zooms Super Chunk Jr will work all day. Focus on areas of post spawn and deeper water, such as points and reef markers.
This Lake Lanier Striper report is from Captain Ken West and Captain Mike Maddalena of Big Fish On! Guide Service, 404 561 2564. www.bigfishonguide.com
Striper fishing is good and the water is heating up and so is the striper fishing. Striper fishing is good and if the weather holds it should only improve. There is an early morning bite on free line herring pulled at 100 to 120 feet behind the board across points and flats. After about 9:00am and a bright sun, weight you free lines with 1 to 3 split shots and move over deeper water like the 40 to 60 foot bottom. You should also hang a down rod over the side and adjust the depth as need. The key is to cover water with herring on free lines and boards. The spots are biting and if you can catch them on a 1/2 oz. Captain’s Macks bucktail. The spots will also skin your herring without you knowing. Keep an eye on your lines and check your baits often. As always fresh bait when striper fishing. You may want to consider picking up an extra dozen herring. The fish are scattered lake wide from the mouth of the creeks to all the way in the back. Shoal creek, Bald Ridge, Big Creek, and Flowery Branch are good starting points on the south end of the lake. Chestatee Bay and Flat mid lake and any of the creeks on the North end. The south end is probably a little better but the fish are really scattered lake wide.

WEST POINT LAKE IS DOWN 2.7 FEET, STAINED & 67 DEGREES BY CHRIS BELL
Bass fishing has been good. Fish have begun spawning. This has been a week for the soft plastics like a Zoom lizard on a light Carolina rig and the trick worms or creature baits. Work the isolated cover and depressions. These fish are most likely relating to small ditches waiting to pull up for the spawn. A light Carolina Rig can also be effective in these same areas. My best areas have been from Wehadkee creek north to the 109 bridge.
Hybrid and striper fishing is good. Fish are following shad into pockets and creeks in ten feet of water or less. Find the shad and you will find fish. Troll small crankbaits and bucktails through feeding fish and bait. The best pockets have been north of the 109 bridge.
Crappie fishing has been great. Fish are spawning in shallow pockets and creeks. Use live minnows or jigs eighteen to twenty four inches below popping corks. Once you have located a bed first start by using jigs to catch the most active fish and then switch to live bait. Jig colors to use would be black/chartreuse or white/pink patterns until water clears.

LAKE ALLATOONA IS FULL, 61 DEGREES AND CLEAR
This Lake Allatoona bass report is from Matt Driver and www.proanglerradio.com
Bass fishing the week has been great. The recent ran and storms have littered the water with pine straw and leave but the fish are still biting. The weight less Jerk Minnow bite has pick up and even a few fish on buzz baits early. Most fish are still pre-spawn but expect the largemouth bite to slow as we near the next full moon, because of the next big wave of spawning. When the starts shaky head finesse worms and jigs will be a good choice. Be sure to slow down during that time.
This Lake Allatoona striper and hybrid fishing guides report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827 6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: eidson6260@comcast.net
Line side fishing has been a little bit slower this week but is still good. With the recent rains and the cold nights the striper bite has slowed down. But to my surprise it hasn’t hurt the hybrid bite that much. Look for it to pick back up as the water warms. The fish have back down out of the river due to the muddy water but they should move back up quickly as the water clears. The spawn hasn’t been to reach it prime. So keep you eye on the river for the next 3 to 4 weeks. For you guys that don’t want to go up the river, the south and north ends of the lake is still holding a ton of hybrids. These fish are biting flat lines and planner boards in the morning. The down lines and Mack Farr umbrella rigs are a go when the sun gets up. The umbrella rig bite is the best bite going. Look for these fish to be off main lake points and on the edge of the humps.

LAKE HARTWELL IS FULL, & 61 DEGREES
Bass fishing is good. Bass are on the move into the shallows with the warm weather warming up the water at a steady pace. The full moon is 10 days away and the bass will be on the beds. Expect to majority of the bass to on the beds in about two weeks. The males are still roaming the shallow water on the sunny side of the banks. This is where the females will lay their eggs so the sun can warm the water up and make certain of a good hatch. Several baits like the spinnerbait, Husky Jerk baits and jigs along with Shad Raps will catch bass this week. The spotted bass are on the move as well and will be a lot more aggressive this week. They will spawn in a little deeper water than the largemouth. Fish the coves and all the shallow water. There will a concentration in many areas where the water is warmest.
April 8, 2011
LAKE RUSSELL IS FULL, CLEAR & 62 DEGREES
Bass fishing is good off the rivers with buzz baits and Manns Shallow Minus One bright crank baits. Keep a trick worm and a Super Fluke ready for the shallow fish on any wood and on the small points in the creek. Up the river, use a spinner bait and the Stanley 3/8 ounce all white spinnerbaits will work off the rivers in the pockets and around wood. Try the clear creeks with buzz baits and spinner baits as well as trick worms. Use the Scrounger and a Fluke trailer in all white on any wood or rocks. When you are ready learn how to find the bass with the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology, call us to set up a day on Lake Lanier. We will show you the fish.
April 8, 2011
CLARK HILL IS DOWN 3.1 FEET, STAINED & 61 DEGREES
Bas fishing is good and the fish will be on the beds in ten days. Anglers will be fishing bedding bass. Bass can still be caught on Super Flukes, X-Raps and shallow running Shad Raps in and around grassy flats. The grass mats will be submerged, so look for the dark shadows along the bottom or drag a jig or Carolina Rig through an area to find the type and color of the grass. Small flats that run near a deep ditch or River channel are the best places to catch your limit this week. Be sure to try the Scrounger with a Super Fluke as the trailer. Trick worms can also work.
April 8, 2011
LAKE SEMINOLE IS FULL, STAINED AND 73 DEGREES
Bass fishing is good. The fish are starting to get in a post spawn stage, but not completely. There are some good fish to be caught near the edges of spawning flats in 8-15 feet of water. To locate fish, fish a Spro Little John MD in Nasty Shad or Cell Mate. Try and parallel the grass lines instead of casting directly to them. You will need to use fluorocarbon line to rip the crank bait free from the grass, so go with 16 lb. Sunline FC Sniper. Once you locate an area that has fish, you can slow down with a Carolina Rig. A good bait to use on the Carolina Rig is a Big Bite Baits 6" Finesse Worm in Junebug. If this technique is not for you, you can still catch numbers of fish in shallow water around lily pads and grass. An awesome bait for catching bass right now on Seminole is a Big Bite Baits Cane Thumper. Rig this bait on a 5/0 Weighted EWG Superline hook (Gamakatsu) and swim in through and over the tops of the grass and pads. This technique will catch both quantity and quality.
April 8, 2011
LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, 60 DEGREES & STAINED
Bass fishing is good. The best fishing in the early and late evening hours seems to be the best bet. Spinnerbaits, buzz baits and floating worms all have been catching fish. Look around for those grass lines near deeper water as from the patterns this weekend that’s been a big plus in catching the better fish. June bug and red shad are local favorites when going deep. Work the drop offs and channel or creel ledges and any sharp drop off points during this time. Added scent is another good idea and garlic is preferred by most anglers. Long cast and slow retrieves will be the secret on the Carolina rig. Down the lake towards the dam, a darker color jig along with the Carolina rig will be all the big baits of choice all day. Fish every stump and lay down you can find either on your graph or on the bank. When you are ready learn how to find the bass with the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology, call us to set up a day on Lake Lanier. We will show you the fish.

LAKE WEISS IS .26 FEET OVER FULL, LIGHT STAIN & 57 DEGREES BY MARK COLLINS GUIDE SERVICE
Now available for sale 50 of my proven GPS waypoints for off shore structure for Bass and Crappie fishing on Weiss Lake, Alabama. E mail ken@havefunfishing.com
Bass fishing is good and the fish are shallow in the spawning bays, they are being caught on secondary points, road beds, humps and ditches and shallow stump flats. A few bass are starting to cruise the spawning banks also. Rat L Traps and shallow running crank baits and Spinner Baits are catching these pre spawn Bass, Jigs and worms are also catching some good fish.
Crappie fishing is fair and the crappie are staged in the spawning bays in 10-14 feet of water, and they are being caught long line trolling with JIFFY JIGS in 1/24th ounce in colors JJ13, JJ17, JJ24. Shooting docks is also starting to produce a lot of Crappie. Look for a lot of crappie to move shallow and start spawning over the next week or so.
April 8, 2011
LAKE OCONEE IS FULL, 66 DEGREES AND STAINED
Bass fishing is great. The warmer temperatures are bring the bream and perch along with some shad back into the shallow water. The bass are feeding heavy on the bream and perch and this is a good color choice in the Shad Raps and the DT6’s. The DT’s seem to be out fishing everything else this week and with the weather expected to remain the same for the next week, expect the pattern to hold. Bass are ready to bed with lots of fish on the feeding prowl. The best bite is occurring early in the morning and then again later on after 3:00pm in the afternoon. Top water baits like the Skitter Pop and the Chug bugs are just now turning on early in the morning hours. After the sun come above the tree tops, the bass seem to be holding tight to cover. Fish the backs of creeks and coves and fish all the secondary points you can find. On the blue bird sky days, use the jig and lizards to work the wood. The pattern will still be a run and gun as only about two bass to an area are still being caught. Fish the cove, catch the fish then move to another. When you are ready learn how to find the bass with the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology, call us to set up a day on Lake Lanier. We will show you the fish.
April 8, 2011
LAKE SINCLAIR IS DOWN 1.3 FEET, 63 DEGREES, MOSTLY STAINED.
Bass fishing is good as fish prepare to spawn. Most fish are now in coves and protected bays, although a few remain along main lake banks. Many different type baits have produced recently, although a few have been better than most. Spinner baits have done especially well in the stained to muddy water. Single spin baits with large Colorado blades have been good during early morning and in muddy water. Seawalls and dock posts are prime targets for single spin models, which are less snag-proof than double or tandem spin baits. But the single spin generates more vibration, which helps bass zero in on the target in dirty water. Baits with double Colorado blades are especially good around wood cover such as lay downs, stumps, and brush piles. Tandem spin models and double willow blade baits are just right for retrieving through the grass. On any of the models, gold blades have probably been the best overall, with silver, copper, and colored blades also producing. Chartreuse and white combination skirts have been good, along with black chartreuse, blue chartreuse, and blue white. A 5 inch Senko in the June bug color has shined as a come back bait for missed strikes on the spinner bait. Zoom lizards in 5 or 6 inch sizes have done well rigged both Texas and Carolina style. Try to use the lightest weight possible for the conditions. Small to medium size crank baits are still catching a few fish and try a buzz bait. This bait may not draw but one or two bites, possibly the largest of the day.
April 8, 2011
JACKSON LAKE IS DOWN 2.7 FEET, STAINED & 62 DEGREES
Bass fishing is great and the fish are shallow and taking a variety of baits from back in the pockets to the main lake. You will find spots gathered on rocky main lake points and sea walls. Fish any shallow wood on the banks or back in the pockets. Throw a white spinnerbait with nickel blades and get it close to wood and rock cover. Bump the cover and use a slow retrieve. Also use the jig and craw trailer. A green jig should work well for finding big fish and taking fish that didn’t jump on the blade bait. You can have a little fun with floating worms if you like. Fish a weightless trick worm around shallow brush piles and dock posts. These bites will likely be smaller fish, but the visible bait adds to the fun. Rig it whacky or no weight Texas, in white or green pumpkin. The shade of overhanging trees and docks will hold fish when the sun is up and skipping a floating worm is a fun way to get at them. A green Senko is also a top producer around wood in the 2 to 5 foot range. Flip or skip the 5" Senko around docks and wood cover and let it fall with plenty of slack. If it makes it to the bottom, twitch and pause it briefly then make another presentation. This bait is working best when falling on a wacky rig but hang ups will be more of a problem near wood cover.

OIFC fishing report 4-7
Just in situation you missed my seminar lately here at the OIFC for the duration of our Spring Kickoff. I have had a number of issues from a handful of that did skip it. Here is a single of my responses.
Targeting speckled trout? You mentioned you have had tons of success employing the gulp shrimp on a jighead, but catching other species as nicely. That is why I take pleasure in utilizing artificials. It is not unusual to select up flounder and red drum hoping to target trout. Trout, from my expertise seem to be the most tempermental of all the inshore species. A single day they are there, next gone. One day extremely aggressive, next barely choose up the bait. Few of issues that might aid. Bear in mind, red drum and flounder are mostly bottom feeders. Red drum are use to grubbing or rooting up the bottom hunting for crabs, shrimp, or scaring minnows out of the oyster shells. Flounder usually lay completely still and ambush minnows that get as well shut. If you drag the bait or quick hop it is when red drum and flounder will get the bait. Acquiring a bait to fall slowly and gradually and suspend just a handful of feet off the bottom will usually pick up mostly trout as they tend to feed upwards. Look carefully at your fish when you catch them next time. Red drum have eyes in the center of the head and mouths are pointed downward. Flounder of course are flat and lay on the bottom. Trout have eyes positioned near to the top rated of the head pointed upwards and their mouths appear like a largemouth bass or tarpon’s. When trout get aggressive they will typically fall for a topwater bait. They are developed for it.
My approach to preserve it in the trout’s strike zone. Trolling motor is my ticket to accomplishment on trout. I guess you could phone it a reverse trolling approach. I point my boat into the existing and change my speed so the boat is drifting back gradually. I toss my lure approximately 45 degrees down existing and let the current suspend the bait whilst doing work the bait in a a single two jig and pause movement. Letting the bait drift back to the fish then jerking it up speedily and then falling back to the fish. Trout will hit it on the fall 9 out of ten occasions. I use 1/8th ounce jighead for this method with my alternative of soft plastic. Some of my favorite soft plastics are Bass Assassins Sea Shads in four" paddletail. This soft plastic has great action and comes in a number of distinct shades. Deep Creek Lures has developed a four inch mullet shaped much more like a pogy with excellent action and scent. I have had great good results with this bait on many outings this yr. My favourite colours….since I think the trout like them too…chartreuse diamond, rainbow trout, area guppy, and shrimp. Colours vary relying on drinking water clarity and situations. Rootbeer and new penny get the nod soon after a minor rainstorm usually. Chartreuse has been challenging to beat so far this 12 months. I appear for the normal coloured baits to begin creating as more bait exhibits up. Seeking back at final a long time reports…the very last aspect of April into Could is the finest time to catch a nice trout and a lot of them. They have already started to present up in numbers, but are modest. I count on to see some two and three pound fish display up routinely around the 3rd week in April. Drinking water temperature will have a good deal to say about that. It is looking excellent and right on track for now. I hope this didn’t blow your brain and aids you out on your next trip. Stop by and see me in the shop someday. See ya on the h2o!

Well, Capt. Jacob and I have been theorizing not too long ago that the Big BULL Redfish may possibly be hanging out in the surfline and inlets. Sunday early morning, our concept was confirmed when neighborhood legend and longtime friend of the OIFC Tony Honeycutt (a.k.a Floundertony) showed up at the fishing center with his potential son in law Sean Miller carrying camera’s and wonderful massive grins on their faces. They were taking advantage of the Blue Bird weather conditions Sunday morning to run their Carolina Skiff outside the inlet for some Whiting. Shortly soon after arriving in the area of the Shallotte inlet sea bouy, they hooked a monster redfish utilizing reduce shrimp on light tackle. I have integrated some pics that they sent me. Many thanks for offering us a heads-up and great work on a tremendous fish.

Man is it blowing! 30kts + from the southwest. That is the negative news. The excellent news is it may well just blow alone out. I hate to even say, but "possibly" the weather conditions looks actually very good from Thursday through the weekend. There have been a couple days over the past week and a fifty percent that boats have produced trips offshore to the Stream and every trip seems to be reporting much better catches. Wahoo, Blackfin and yes, Yellowfin Tuna as properly. I have it from a very good source there ended up Yellowfin caught at the Steeples lately. The h2o temperatures looked great last week, and as quickly as the clouds get out of right here, we really should be able to get one more appear. Maybe we’ll have something good to fish to. However, even if not, there is always the vertical jigging. That will generate Blackfin and the occasional Wahoo along with all the bottom monsters you want. I’m searching ahead to obtaining on the water later this week. Arrive on down and join us.

""Diving for Fishing Poles"" | Tiberias – 22′ | 04/04/11
Took a few of buddies fishing today. As constantly any day on the drinking water is an journey. That is why we call it Capt. Brant’s Fishing Adventures. Today was nothing at all brief of an adventure. We headed for the cement canals hunting for a small action. Very first stop was a bust. We headed to yet another and found the bluefish. Landed a handful of and had many minimize offs. Just as we ended up about to move away since of the blues, the initial keeper flounder of the season came to the boat. Things had been just acquiring heated up. Then one particular of my buddies decided to toss my fishing pole overboard. We won’t point out any names for that function. The two of us were in shock for a handful of seconds as we watched it slowly sink to the bottom. I made a quick choice, not constantly the greatest choice. I dove in soon after it! Once more, not the smartest issue I have ever completed. I was unsuccessful in retrieving my fishing pole, but very successful in blowing up my cell cellphone. Hilarious! I managed to regain my composer and we landed a number of more trout ahead of heading for dry clothing. After the break in action, the tide was acquiring ripe. We headed for the redfish grounds. We hit the first creek and landed some 15" to 17" reds, along with a couple of trout. The wind began to howl and was creating issues difficult. I was dropping my confidence as we continued hunting for larger fish. Finally, it took place. A great redfish slammed the bait, but shortly launched by itself. It was not lengthy prior to yet another one slammed the bait. This time we landed a great 25" red. Then one more fast hook up and however one more rapid release. Ultimately, I got a bite. I set the hook! I set it via the steel plate in his head. He wasn’t going anywhere unless of course he broke the line. I win! An additional 25" redfish was landed and we headed for the home. See ya on the drinking water!

""Its a Lovely Factor!"" | Tiberias – 22′ | 04/03/11
My wife and son joined me on a short trip today. As we entered the creek 1 boat was previously there. I asked the gentleman if he had any bites. He shook his head no. I eased on around him to the again of the creek and proceeded to hit the tiny cuts feeding into the principal creek. On about our fifth cast Mandy was hooked up on a wonderful red. A handful of a lot more cast and another, then another, another….Jake was netting them as fast as we could get them to the boat. Finally, another slot red and we decided to give them a relaxation. We brought them home in the livewell for a handful of images and then released them right here at the dock. It does not get any far better than this. Sharing one thing you love with you family! I adore it! See ya on the water!
