The northeast wind arrived up nowadays and it received quite choppy. Fell Williams and his crew ended up difficult and the weather did not bother them at all. We caught some good gaffer dolphin and had some opportunities for blue marlin and four sails but woman luck did not want to shine on us. We will get them up coming time.

Nowadays was a rather wonderful day on the ocean with a easterly wind around 15kts. I had some of my great buddies from more than around Pantego, NC and they had been excellent anglers. We ended up looking for some billfish but I just could not find some hungry ones. We did catch some good dolphin.

07-17-2011: Capt. Joe’s now has a new page on the internet-web site. "Capt’s feedback and Activities". .WE had a excellent turnout for or redfish seminar Saturday. I hope everybody enjoyed them-selves and understand a handful of new tips. The fishing has been pretty good for the very last handful of days. We did some red drum fishing Thursday and had extremely great catches of slot and more than slot red drum again in the marshes utilizing natural bait. Friday when the winds startecd to come out of the east, the Spanish mackerel truly turned on exterior of the Beaufort Inlet. Acres of Spanish mackerel were feeding on the surface area on glass minnows. Casting lures and flies as well as trolling was generating very good figures of wonderful Spanish. Red Drum Tackle fishing report Buxton 7-18
After yesterday’s document heat, the NE wind that arrived this early morning felt true great and do not think since she went NE in July that the fish stopped biting. Very good catches of Sea Mullet and Spot reported from South Beaches where the wind and present made it less difficult to fish. There was a respectable Spanish Mackerel bite this early morning off Ramps 34 and 38 along with Spanish and Bluefish described from the Inlet.
Hang-On was one particular of the handful of boats that fished Inshore and he ended up with a number of keeper Trout. 25 Knot winds held the Offshore Fleet dockside. Winds will taper off and gradually shift to East and then SE for the weekend so as Zach would say – Come on down and Hoop who’d say – and get you some – Grumpy.
Friday Fishing Report
Let’s commence with Puppy Drum at the Jetties and South of Ramp 55. Tons of modest Sea Mullet with a few in the 1lb class getting caught and it would seem from no particular seashore area. Along with Sea Mullet, there had been also very good catches of Spot and significant catches of Croaker getting set in coolers. These fish are being caught on Bloodworms, Shrimp, and Sand Fleas. The Fish gods blessed us today with a lovely day of fishing,Puppy drum caught at the narrows and at ramp 55,Spanish and bluefish at 55 this morning.Spot, seamullet and croaker carry on to be caught on all seashores. No offshore or inshore report nowadays. "Come Get You Some" HOOP-DEE!!!

Let us start off off with a handful of congrats – Guy Bunteman and his Spouse caught numerous Sea Mullet today in the 1lb furthermore class. Jenny Dawley weighed in a 1lb 9oz citation Sea Mullet and Large Ben Williams weighed in a big 11lb 4oz Sheepshead. No top secret holes – just fishing along the north and south seashores. Pompano keep on to please on Sand Fleas and Shrimp and there have been also great catches of Spot and Croaker. Those fishing the inlet caught a handful of keeper Flounder and Bluefish.
The Inshore boats reported catches of Red Drum and Bluefish with limits of Speckled Trout. The Offshore fleet had great Dolphin, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna catches along with 11 released Sails and White Marlin.
The clamming is genuinely good and we have acquired the rakes to establish it and NO – you do not require a license to clam or crab so long as you do not have business pots. The weather conditions ahead seems better than very good so we’ll see you on the shorelines – Grumpy.

Offshore boats caught dolphin, yellowfin tuna and introduced blue marlin, sailfish and white marlin. There have been numerous wahoos in the catches as properly.James Kuntz from Columbia Maryland caught a 247 pound bigeye tuna.It took effectively over two hrs to carry aboard. A quite wonderful fish in fact.It measured 75 inches in duration.Inshore boats caught bluefish, flounders, croakers and sea mullet One boat also caught grey trout. Our Nearshore fleet caught blue fish and spanish mackerel and inshore there were some flounders and blues caught as well as a 67 pound cobia. Offshore we had some white marlins caught and released as nicely as a blue marlin. Some of the fleet had yellow fin tuna and dolphin.

Guy, what a wonderful day on the drinking water.
Right now we had the Strickland boys from Gloucester and Hampton.
We started out out catching a mess of dolphins around a float.
Soon Randy the brithday boy, caught a fiesty sailfish.
The boys caught a couple of more dolphins and a nice small blackfin.
A white marlin popped up on the extended rigger and Stephen did a excellent work bringin it to the boat swiftly.
We milled all around a small bit with no bites then produced a tack to the deep, about a hundred and fifty fathoms, a small 200 pound blue marlin came to the teaser. Jeremy hooked him on pinky but he arrived off, I put the boat again in gear and the proper longrigger came down. Hooked up, Blue Marlin!
Trent did a great career battlin him on mild tackle and swiftly brought him to the leader, hot 200 pound blue marlin on 30# test!
We had caught a grand slam, Jeremy’s very first, but we have been not carried out.
Was not lengthy right after the initial blue marlin when a 2nd, much greater 450+ ate pinky.
Stepen on the rod again for a wonderful major tackle battle on an eighty with a twelve wire leader!

Off The Hook Fishing Charters Hilton Head Island, SC 7-17

Frisco Rod and Gun fishing report 7-17
It blew north northeast 15 to twenty five all day which cooled it off but the fishing was slow. The handful of boats that went offshore had good catches of dolphin along with some blackfin tuna but thats about all that I heard of. Tomorrow is an additional day and I hope its far better.
Fishing Report seven/15
The winds layed down and the fishing picked up. The south seaside and Hatteras had sea mullet, blues, spot, and some puppy drum. Late yesterday there was a good run of spanish mackerel beneath ramp 55.
The inshore boats caught blues and specks.
Fishing Report 7/16
Excellent information! They opened the inlet this early morning and opened a walk way to the position. Fishing was rather good on the seashore with sea mullet and large pompano on the north beach this early morning. The south beach had sea mullet and pompano and some spot. There was a great run of spanish and blues at the inlet.
I didn’t get an inshore report but offshore the Bite Me had a grand slam with an additional blue marlin thrown in. Dolphin fishing was fairly excellent along with a number of wahoo and blackfin. Numerous boats had sailfish releases.
Offshore they caught dolphin quite excellent and had a handful of wahoo and some blackfin. The billfish made a great displaying with Hatteras Harbor reporting eight sailfish introduced.

OIFC fishing report 7-17
Mr. Sam Sensible, daughter Mary-Curtis, and nephew Ben joined us for a 50 % day trip yesterday. We pulled a great deal of tricks out of the bag yesterday hoping to get the redfish to bite. Drifted reside shrimp over oyster bars with a split shot, cork, jighead, and approach ole carolina rig with minor final results. I dropped the trolling motor and pulled out the artificials. Mr. Wise and myself worked a string of docks and a collection of bars with no luck on several diverse shades and manufacturers of bait. We headed for an additional area to get mullet minnows and try out them under some docks. Ultimately…a single redfish drilled a bait and Ben was hooked up on his initial redfish. I had the honor of netting the fish and seeing a massive smile! We fed every mullet we had to the pinfish soon after that. We nevertheless had a small bit of time, so I caught yet another few dozen mullet minnows and moved close to to a flounder hole. Received everybody set up and I created a cast for myself. Thump! There he is! Switched rods with Mary-Curtis and she landed our 1st keeper flounder. Sweet! Next cast and thump! Ben on the rod! Ben went six flounder for nine cast. Mary-Curtis went 3 for 4 on her last four cast. Eventually, Mr. Wise acquired one particular on his last cast. We ended the day with a blast. Thank goodness! See ya on the h2o!

"Black Drum" | Get Active | 07/15/eleven
Below is a photo of Tim Gallimore’s four.5 lb. black drum he caught even though fishing the Shallotte River with Thomas Willis. They had been using reside shrimp on a "channelside" rig.

Hatteras Harbor fishing report 7-17
Another day of billfish snapping and flags flapping. Good Mahi catches today as properly as fair Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo. Gambler introduced 4 Sailfish. Launch released three Sailfish. Sea Creature released two White Marlin and a Sailfish.
