"Scattered Inshore Report" | Tiberias – 22′ | 08/18/11
I have only gotten out 2 times this week with the McRae group on Monday early morning and the Miniuitti group this early morning. Monday we headed straight for the nearshore reefs seeking for flounder. We could not get baits to the bottom prior to the black sea bass had been inhaling it! We drifted, moved, and hit many distinct spots. Finally, Stuart drilled a great 21" flounder and his buddy Richard adopted it up with a wonderful 18" flounder. That was it for our flounder bite. We did fight a four foot shark all the way to the boat for a quick release at boatside. It was time for prepare B…Spanish are scattered all alongside the seashore entrance appropriate now. It did not get long for us to catch a number of to stop the day with some good eating.
Nowadays with Michelle, Wes, and Jack we created a number of stops before heading out the inlet. Jack was 1st to hook up with a nice red! Jack fought him all the way to the boat before the fish released itself just out of achieve of my internet. Disappointing…but will Jack get yet another opportunity to redeem himself? Wes was up following, rod bent more than and he went to function. Meanwhile, Jack’s rod bent over and one more fish was screaming off drag. I enjoy it! I netted Wes’s fish very first and then scooped up Jack’s redfish. Way to remain with it Jack! Equally boys enjoyed it significantly, but had been eager to see the ocean and catch a handful of spanish. We obtained on the spanish just prior the sea bouy. Wes and Jack desired to catch a shark, so we went to bottom fishing. The bottom was dead today! We did see a barracuda try to eat a bluefish and a significant, really large hammerhead. Winds seem excellent once more for tomorrow, hope the fish obtained the memo. See ya on the drinking water!
