I ran a few of trips over the weekend in nice weather. The blue drinking water was in and so were the tuna at minimum on day 1 they have been. Caught a few baits on friday and headed down the shelf looking for some tuna. The 1st three rigs have been dead but rig quantity four had twenty frigates circling in excess of it and loads of tuna jumping around it. I had Lee Bull and his crew in for a bachelor get together and also a tuna popper casting party. They ended up hitting live bait a minor bit but they were coming up and nailing frenzy poppers on blind casts. All of the fish ended up good quality 60-80 pounders. We also lucked up and got a great wahoo on dwell bait. We commenced heading in to aj fish and ran into an additional pod of tuna where we got some blacks, a dolphin, and an additional good yf. Jack fishing was sluggish even though we did get a modest one particular and lost a few

On day two I went out and tried to replicate my good results from the day ahead of and received just the oppposite. All of the tuna from the day ahead of ended up gone. I never ever saw a fish bust so we went again inside all around noon and found a limit of nicde jacks on dwell bait and jigs. Went close to and tried using a handful of shrimpboats and obtained some jumbo blacks on jigs. Got a decent sum and lost some far too. Headed back again to the house with 6 blackfins and a limit of jacks.

Canyon Runner Real Time Report – Epic??? – 47 Longfin in 3 Hours

No not Epic – we’ve completed much better. But it really is fairly darn excellent!!!!!

The Canyon Runner crew obtained back again out right now – we did not fish the weather windows last week as we did not really feel we had enough time to track down the fish in the window the weather authorized. Turns out we have been incorrect as it only took the men 2 hours to uncover them. The moment they did it was recreation on.

Trolling for 3 several hours produced 22 Longfin on the 48 Viking with Capt. Mark at the helm and 25 longfin on the 60′ Ritchie Howell &quotBlue Runner&quot with Capt. Joe Miele at the helm.

There had been so many longfin that the charter begged for relief and asked us to cease fishing for them. So out went the huge lures and they pulled away from the educational institutions of longfin searching for a big eye proper now as I type this.
