Canyon Runner – Catch a Couple – 70 Longfin/18 Yellowfin/3 Swords/Mahi

We have been fishing every day the weather permits (which has not been a lot in the previous three weeks with these storms) but have been marginally lazy in submitting studies. For good reasons that shall goes unnamed we just want a break from the web world every single when in a while and this was our break. The fishing was ok in people prior 3 weeks, even so alot of time essential to be set in to place 6-ten fish in the boat. Not yesterday!!!

The fishing was far too very good not to allow every person know in circumstance you want to get out with your own boat or on a charter so please read on.

The two boats left the dock yesterday morning and ran to the eddy that has been sitting offshore of the edge for 3 weeks now but is now last inshore from the the Toms to the Lindy. Trolling for a couple of hrs to uncover the fish we understood it was only a issue of time and we’d discover them. An boy did they uncover them.

Capt. Mark was the initial on the fish and in three hours caught forty five longfin on the troll. Certainly every thing labored so he stayed with the plastic and had five, six, 7, eight on at a time. The longfin are from 35 – 65 pounds. He also extra a bunch of mahi. Calling in Capt. Phil he also received into the bite catching twenty five in 2.five hours ahead of his charter asked to quit fishing and go home. They stayed for the night bite.

The night time bite was also red hot with the 48 Canyon Runner catch 14 yellowfin and two swords to 140 lbs and the sixty Ritchie Howell Canyon Runner catching four prior to taking the tuna rods out and just putting swords rods out after 10pm – they too caught a sword.

Both boats have been on their way house early with the 60′ leaving at 3am and the 48′ at five:30am. Neither hung close to for the morning bite that could have been the greatest as per the Sea Devil report as they by now had 88 tuna and 3 swords.

Before anybody will get their panties in a bunch – they produced far more than they stored.
