This weekend has established to be a great bottom weekend! …………. We have picked up SEA MULLET, POMPANO, BLUEFISH, BLACK DRUM, and small SPOTS! …………… The SPOT Run has not transpired however, I passed the MOREHEAD Town PORT yesterday in our boat, and with all of the boats around, we did not see anything caught! …………… Anyway, it appears like there just isn’t much motion in the SPOT DEPT. rather significantly wherever, at the very least SO FAR! ……… Congratulations to KENNETH WADE (Winterville, NC)–two lb. 14 oz. As the season progresses, we are viewing a lack of SPOTS, the target fish that everyone Loves! …………. The earlier few days have been below a Reduced Strain and the ocean has been rough. Fishing has been predictable with BOTTOM/SURF feeders like Puppy DRUM, a couple of BLACK DRUM, an assortment of SEA MULLET, POMPANO, and modest SPOTS. ……………. Congratulations to MIKE KISER (Salisbury, NC)–five lb. fifteen oz. Pet DRUM ………… ANDY PARKS (Jacksonville, NC)–1 lb. 7 oz.
