Canyon Runner Marlin Report?? (25 Whites To Date) – Makos to 275 and YFT – 2 Spots Open Sunday

Canyon Runner 48 – 7/one-2 – 2 Whites/12 Yellowfin/two Makos to 275

Undertaking a turn close to Friday to Saturday Capt. Mark DeBlasio wished to stay away from the crowds so left the Hudson to weekend warriors and worked in amongst the hectic canyons (Hudson and Lindy) to get off by himself. This proved advantageous with a white marlin quickly coming to the boat and a couple yellowfin. They set up for what was a excellent evening with many blue sharks, dusky and two makos. The very first mako was 130 lbs and killed. The second mako was the largest of the year and right after a wonderful battle was alongside the boat. It measured out to 275 pounds and was released as we by now had our a single for the night. Up on the troll in the morning they picked away properly all day and completed up with 12 wonderful yellowfin.

Canyon Runner sixty – 7/2-3 – three Whites/8 Yellowfin

Capt. Phil Dulaine, Capt. Kobey Treadwell and mate Will Howell had the Bob O’Connell charter out Saturday to Sunday and ran back down to the Carteret Canyon only to find it lacking existence. They trolled to the Lindenchol and picked a yellowfin prior to evening fall. The evening bite was non-existent (a uncommon incidence for us thus far not catching a mako) but they made up for it on the troll. Functioning the Lindencole all early morning they picked away at yellowfin and white marlin going three for six on the billfish and catching eight yellowfin.

We have two spots left open on Sunday, July ten to 11 on the 48 Viking. Cost is $ 725/man or woman. Make sure you e-mail me at adam@canyonrunner.com or call me at 732-272-4445 if interested.

Just to be clear the twenty five whites are in between the two Canyon Runner Boats but that was by July three so it really is a quite excellent start to the 12 months.
