Not So Good First Experience!,

Been cutting and welding up some new hangers for the engine mounts. The owner of the welding shop had to run an errand, so I kept at it. He mentioned theres the shield have at it. Thought to my self, nicely I can weld as great as the next man. Furthermore I get the possibility to use one particular of these fancy &quotself darkening&quot welding shield’s for the very first time. I know they’ve been close to for ever before, I am alittle slow catching up with the new technological innovation. So I change the head band, drop the shield and allow her rip. Dang that arc is bright!!!!! So I feel it has to be ME and maintain on welding by way of my tightly squinted eyes. Now I am thinkin to myself, how can this be far better than the &quotold way&quot? Following about 6 inches of closing the seam, I give up simply because I cannot see a thing now. The owner walks back in and asked how was I carrying out?
