Spanish mackerel can be caught by trolling just off the seashore out to three miles or so. Attempt Blue H2o Candy daisy chains or Clarkspoons early and late in the day or use a Received-Cha plug from the pier. Redfish have been in the surf but now are shifting back in the creeks. Some blues have been caught around Masonboro Inlet and alog Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches.

Near Shore

Grouper fishing has been effective from about eighty feet of drinking water on out. Some great mahi have been at the 23 Mile Rock alongside with some sailfish. King mackerel fishing has been slow but ought to improve as we head towards drop.

Gulf Stream
