SPRING FISHING IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA

April 14, 2011

These days we headed to the Gulfstream with Jimmy Tembleton, James Templeton, Kevin Meomman, Caleb Meomman, and Nathan Meomman from Elkin,WV.

We stopped on the South finish of the Black Jack wherever we identified clean cobalt blue h2o, a good temperature of 72 to 74 degrees and was marking fish anywhere from eighty to 150 feet and in amongst.
Capt Chris deployed the lines and I was sure it was going to be the day that it all came with each other, specially when just shortly after commencing a big fish, we figured was a Wahoo slammed the port rod and screamed off 100 yards then cut us off.

One thing about these Pink Pirate Plug Deep 6’s that drive wahoo, tuna, and other fish wild, regrettably, he took the very last one particular we had. Maybe that is why the bite stopped, could be!!

Sadly, that was it for us until finally later on when Caleb caught his initial Mahi Mahi. It was a slow day taking into consideration the problems and all the boats had been speaking on the radio with having the exact same benefits with the wahoo.

With the bite being slow, I last but not least left a wonderful seeking stream and went to the bottom with bait and Eastern Tackle’s jigging spoons.
Right here points have been a minor diverse. The around extinct massive knot head Black Bass, ended up attacking the baits two at a time as rapidly as you obtained it down. Of program, they have to be launched till June 1st.

Jigging, the Amber Jacks and Blackfin Tuna were attacking the jigs and the Huge sharks were attacking every little thing!!! What a vicious planet it is in the sea, it’s both eat or be eaten out there!!!!

James Tembleton is pictured here with his massive Sand tiger that we released. Examine out that set of dentures. James was so tired soon after the extended battle with the fish taking him about the boat several times, just how tired was he? A thumbs up and a grin at the very same time was challenging to get out!!!

All in all we had a great day of fishing and even although we caught to the sluggish bite in the stream lengthier that normal due to the truth circumstances looked nearly ideal, Caleb’s Mahi, James’s Shark, Kevin, Jimmy, and Nathan all pitched in to show that there are some fish to be caught for the table even with all the closures and the finishing touches on the bottom created it all arrive with each other very nicely!!

So, Many thanks for stopping by, we appreciate you taking the time to cease by and remember this: If you are too chaotic to go fishin’, then you are just as well chaotic!! God Bless You All!!!

Fish On!!!!
