Minor River
* Cherry Grove Pier reviews that cold climate has kept most fishermen off the pier, but occasional whiting have been caught by anglers braving the wind and chilly.
Grand Strand
* Inshore: On warmer days anglers report that sight fishing for redfish can be sturdy. Fish are grouped up in large schools, and they will get live mud minnows or Gulp! artificials. Fish the reduced levels of the tide and maneuver in direction of the skittish fish quietly. A number of trout have also been noted caught.
Charleston
