September 11th Jitters on the 12th !
After three climate cancellations, Fred Lametta and his son Jack eventually obtained out on Tuna Wahoo. We ran out to the Princess place and the Chicken Canyon but located 71 degree, green h2o. There ended up no birds, no bait, no whales, no good symptoms, but we located two things…. bluefish and 45 miles offshore, a Coast Guard security inspection! Because of to September 11th stress and anxiety, a cutter from New Hampshire was moved down to New Jersey. We had enjoyable with the Coasties (the inflatable was a mess!) and then running again in at twenty knots, twenty miles offshore we ended up hailed by the Navy ! They had been heading a warship South (I think it was an Aegis) and felt we ended up on an intercept program, 3 miles absent. A lot more September 11th jitters ! Nicely we had a great deal of laughs, fantastic seas, and I received to see our tax bucks at work.
