Rod recommendations please ?

Evening all. Gearing up for what hopefully will be a summertime of entertaining for the family off Jupiter, and want to buy two rods for the 20′ CC. All of my rods are even now in the United kingdom and I won’t be able to wait any longer !

So, it becoming a long time since I purchased some rods, I require some support with what it on the industry. I have a couple of twelve/20 2-velocity Beastmasters that I have loaded with 80lb braid as backing, and 50lb mono as a topshot – the intention to fish 50lb or so, dragging for wahoos, kings and what ever else arrives along. I have absent heavy since I will certainly be testing lures at the very same time and it is not mysterious for a blue marlin to put in an visual appeal off Jupiter. I have some other programs also which lean in direction of the major tackle aspect.

Anyway, that is the straightforward finish of the equation. The challenging conclude is picking a rod, given that most of the time it will be the kids performing the winding. Eventually Mrs Hays and I will almost certainly help out also, so the rod will want to match both modest frames AND still consider some stick.

Boat has a transom and bracket, so a brief rod is out. I would like Fujis, not rollers, and a slick-butt would be preferable to an alloy for excess weight purposes. I would also ideally like E-glass, not graphite.

Ideas ?
