Pumpkin bay fishing

I have a condominium down in marco island and we do a lot of exploring in the 10,000 islands in our 25 ft. Pro-Line walkaround we lately arrived upon a spot named pumpkin bay i didnt want to go in because it seemed also shallow and charts agreed with me but its a very good fishing spot evidently any data on the accessibility and fishing there would be great.
