Stage Runner did not sail on Sunday. The boats fishing caught some marlin, mahi, tuna, and at least one boat hit the bigeye’s close to the Level. Meanwhile, right here is a photograph of Lou’s excess fat bluegill he caught in the lake guiding Capt Danny’s residence in Manteo. It was his warm-up just before going offshore to catch a 50-pound tuna.

Quite excellent fishing report from Oregon Inlet nowadays. The boats that went NE discovered white marlin. A couple of boats had 8 marlin releases. The boats who needed to goal meat acquired their mahi mahi….but only a couple of boats caught any tuna. On Level Runner we did wonderful on mahi, but in no way had a trolling bite from a tuna. Our guys from Chattanooga TN did get pleasure from an aboslute lovely day on the ocean. Many thanks to the Pierce family for fishing with us today….Jack, Will, Todd, Tracy, and Cody McNeill. The Stage Runner has rested at the dock for a couple of days. The boats getting out have discovered great fishing. Here is a duplicate of Mr. Bill’s OIFC report.

A lot of great Gulf Stream fishing. Excellent size yellowfin tuna, dolphin, scattered marlin and sailfish in each mixture that is some had a good deal of tuna, some had a whole lot of dolphin and some had both. Gaffer measurement dolphin in there with the school measurement. The marlin season is just beginning. IT acquired off to a excellent start off. As the year progresses you will see far more and much more marlin flags flying indicating that the functions seasoned sport fishing at it is finest and most magnificent. Inshore boats caught excellent amounts of tailor bluefish and spanish mackerel. An all day journey cxaught triggerfish and a king mackerel. Some open up boats caught bluefish and speckled trout. One particular caught and released sharks. Pass up Oregon Inlet caught croakers in the early morning and flounders in the afternoon.
