Point Runner Charters, Oregon Inlet 3-26

92&quot Large Released
Now is the time to catch the fish of a lifetime. Very last week the crew aboard Sea Breeze set the standard large with their 112 inch, 805 pounder which is excellent for a new NC Bluefin tuna report. Like most other charter boats fishing now, Level Runner anglers have launched several fish in the 200-300 pound course. On Friday, we released a 92-incher approximated at 400 kilos. We had been capable to lip-gaff the fish and bring it thru the tuna door for a excellent measurement. We believed about trying to keep it as our trophy for the year, but the fish was in these kinds of excellent condition we spun her about, slid her out the door and watched the large fish swim away.

The likelihood of catching one more large will be a problem due to the fact these powerful fish check the angler and stress the tackle. If we are fortunate adequate to land an additional, we will get it as our trophy for the yr. Hopefully these gorgeous tuna will hang around Oregon Inlet waters by way of April.

Thanks to Chris Hunter for sending this photo of his recent catch. Extremely Wonderful!

three-25-11 good keeper
We realized it would be a bumpy ride out this morning but with the forecast calling for problems to increase, off we sailed with Len McNulty and pals from MD. We were rewarded with a nice 72&quot keeper in the first hour of fishing. Right after that, the fish pretty considerably took the relaxation of the day off. A few other boats caught keepers….and I heard of 3 more substantial fish released. It never did relaxed down and because the bite was slow we came in a minor early. Many thanks guys. Liked the sushi on the dock.
Thank you for checking in.
