OIFC fishing report 7-26
Leonard, Robert, Michael, and Josh joined us for a 50 percent day of inshore fishing yesterday early morning. The sunrise was gorgeous, but the dark clouds moved in quickly. Did not see any electric power in the clouds so we held on fishing. Caution: Fish are slippery when damp, particularly on wet days. We caught very a number of flounder with two at a time coming to the boat on occassion, but they have been all brief of the new 15" mark. We made a transfer to consider for redfish. The 2nd shrimp in the water received drilled! A good redfish was peeling off the line. We hooked 1 more redfish in that location, but he rapidly place us in the oyster shells. We moved again to our original commencing point to see if we could decide on up a keeper flounder. Just a couple much more tiny ones. We hit a few spots on the way back again to the dock. Our very last cease created four hook ups and 3 nice redfish came to the boat. What a excellent way to end a fishing trip! See ya on the water.
