Offshore Venice La

I ran a few journeys this weekend and forgot my digital camera at property. Of training course thats when the tuna start off biting really effectively and its flat relaxed and I could have received wonderful photographs offshore.

On friday I had some guys in from tampa. Andy Ngyuen and his crew have been here for some tuna. I struggled to get bait in the early morning but we eventually acquired some bar jacks which arent my favourite but theyre better then nothing. Pulled up to our very first rig and went one-2 on livies but we did catch plenty of bonitas on poppers. The bite kinda died off then and we went a minor additional out and got on a respectable chum bite. Glad I saved people bonitos trigger they came in useful as we extra 4 more yf to the box for a complete of 5. At that position we headed north looking for red snappers. They were a tiny finicky but the moment we acquired them going we put a limit of 12 in the boat in no time.

On saturday I had a nearby crew in and we headed south looking for tunas. I had my bonitos saved about from the past day and we set them to good use. Very first drift was a tuna in the box. Then the rainbow runners obtained thick on us and we couldnt do anything. There ended up a couple of fish jumping and we did place a 96 pounder in the boat on a frenzy popper. We left that rig and went to an additional one we could see and identified a lot more tuna and significantly less rainbow runners which tends to make for a very good combo when your attempting to chum. Added three much more yf and a nice dolphin to the box before we headed off for snappers. Easily caught our limit of 12 red nibblers and headed to the home with our 5 yf.
