Chris and Kerry booked a journey with us hunting to catch some redfish. I spoke with Chris the evening prior to and explained that catching a redfish was heading to be a problem. This is fishing and there are no absolutes. I instructed him my anticipations right now would be to pick up many trout in the thirteen to 14 inch range and probably discover a number of keepers for supper. We had determined to get redfish off the menu, unless of course we occurred to get fortunate. We began up the Shallote River and picked off a couple of trout prior to the porpoises invaded us. Of class, the bite seemed to fully shut down on us as the porpoises certainly had every thing spooked. We worked our way out of there and headed for the Sunset Seaside area. We found some more trout that had been actively feeding. I mean we could see them pushing bait against the grass line and we have been doubled up many moments. The action was very hot and regular. No keepers however even though. I detest to leave fish, but we necessary some for supper. We made a move and caught our initial keeper trout, then an additional and so on. We ended up putting 7 keepers in the box, but later introduced about three at the dock. Why? We altered out gear and received loaded up to attempt for the redfish. Chris hooks up hard! Right after a excellent battle, amazing angling and some boat managing we landed the 27 inch brute. We took a speedy image and introduced him to combat one more day. Kerry hooks up up coming and it was a best slot fish proper at 26 inches.
