Swinging weather designs have the fish on the transfer…The redfish have been thick on the shallow flats, but spooky. I have pushed a number of colleges of reds and even noticed some trout hanging all around the outer oyster bars. The water has been so clear that you can see the bottom in eight ft of water at instances. Spotting fish is very interesting, but can be aggrevating when they won’t bite. Ultimately, I have had enough…a buddy around the Southport location has been drilling the trout, so I went to check it out. If you will not thoughts a lengthy boat ride the fish seem to be to be cooperating a minor far better in the Southport region. The drinking water temperature would seem to be keeping about three to 4 degrees warmer and h2o color is a minor darker making it easier to do a sneak. A excellent class of trout in the 2 to four pound variety are biting a range of soft plastics in vivid colour styles. Even a flounder or two is still hanging all around. Check out it out! See ya on the water!
