June 13-14 – 2 Boats – 58 BFT/12 YFT/4 Makos up to 200#

With the fish dialed in nicely following our trips Sunday to Monday each Canyon Runner boats knew precisely what to do on Monday. Leaving the dock at 2pm soon after doing a speedy turn around the 60’ Ritchie Howell and the 48’ Viking Canyon Runners headed back to the inshore Bluefin grounds 1st.

Capt. Phil Dulaine, Capt. Jay Richardella and Capt. Kobe Treadwell had a rare open boat canyon trip on the 60’ and it didn’t consider long to get absolutely everyone a fish. Trolling Canyon Runner Mini-Mamba and Green Device bars (four to be precise) and a few ballyhoo the boys nailed eighteen bluefin from 30 kilos up to 70 pounds and place their more than and underneath in the boat. They again had numerous fish bitten by sharks. They then ran to the Hudson Canyon to shark for the evening but had zero action. Up on the troll in the morning they had a few shots of yellowfin catching 8 with only two keepers. They thus ran back again inshore and proceeded to continue to defeat up on the Bluefin releasing another 20 for a complete of 38 bluefin (most forty kilos) and eight yellowfin.

Capt. Mark acquired in on the Bluefin action as effectively on the 48 Canyon Runner with Capt. Deane Lambros. Once more, trolling fundamentally absolutely nothing but Canyon Runner spreader bars they hammered the fish quickly nailing 10 fish in a few hrs on Monday. Capt. Mark decided to hang inshore and shark among the Bluefin and what a excellent decision. They set up at 8pm and by 10pm had 3 makos. By 2am when they ended up out of bait they had a 4th mako and 18 bluesharks. Not only did they have a ton of action they had high quality. two of the makos were 180# and 200#. They stored the 180#. They then jogged out to the Hudson and trolled from 5am to 2pm putting four yellowfin in the boat in the 25-thirty pound class. At 2pm they ran back inshore and completed off with yet another 10 bluefin.
In total the boys blended had 58 Bluefin/12 Yellowfin/four Makos of a hundred#, 100#, 180# and 200#!!!!!
