Hot new secret fishing spot!!

www.reefari.com Always pays to looks for new fishing spots and grounds, and some of these remote reefs are untouched and unfished producing amazing results. This hot new secret fishing spot went off with a great mixed bag. Early morning and late afternoon does seem to produce the results. We spent the night at Stevens reef, which put us out on the water nice and early, and some great fishing on a new spot we found until about 10am and then went quiet. This was a hot morning session and a great variety of Reef fish. Jamie was running red hot and caught the majority of fish, but that’s fishing. Fish included Cobia, Nannygai, Coral Trout, Chinamen fish, Bludger and golden trevally, And even a mowong or motherin law fish to Lee Brake. We are spoilt with some of the best fishing off Mackay, although large distance to the best grounds. These are small reefs and shoals which are untouched and the quality of the fishy shows. You do have to be careful and not overfish these spots, but take a few and move on. Luckily we have numerous spots and don’t work our marks too hard. but always keep looking for new spots, and you’d be amazed what you find. I really enjoy the adventure of new locations and always get a buzz when you find a new spot and it goes off!!
