Holden Beach, NC Bluewater Report
Yesterday morning, we headed to the blackjack in search of dolphin. Upon arriving at 7:fifteen, we made our initial pass across the numbers, and it was on. 3 fish, 4 fish, five fish on. #six comes greyhounding in from the facet and nails the flatline, then busts off. #7 hits the planer bait on the way up, but never ever gets hooked up. We’re covered up. We get the first 5 in, all involving 15 and twenty lbs., then resest the unfold. Practically nothing for awhile, so we head deep, out to a hundred fathoms, then back again with out so a lot as a sniff. The moment we get back again in, the flatline gets nailed, 12 lb. blackfin, then the two longriggers, two more dolphin in the box. We stored at it for the rest of the day, with 1 fish right here, two fish there, and ended the day with a dozen dolphin up to the low 20’s, and 1 tuna. The climate was beautiful, and the fish ended up hungry, what a day. I have a couple of 50 percent days towards the stop of the week, I let everyone know what goes down. I need to have some pics from yesterday tommorow, so I’ll publish them then.
