Fishing report
With the southwest winds we’ve been getting, it’s again to spot, sea mullet and croaker on the beaches. Pompano have been scattered on south seashores.
A couple of Spanish have been taken at Cape Stage and South Stage. The greatest time to attempt for ‘em is early morning and late afternoon. Blues have also been taken. Appear for the apparent water.
Pier fishing has been mostly bottom fish, with lots of spot landed.
Inshore, speckled trout are still biting. Gray trout, keeper flounder and a quite number of huge red drum have also been decked.
Blues and Spanish have been caught by around shore boaters, as nicely as some triggerfish.
Offshore, the fleet is nevertheless thick in the sailfish, with a handful of white marlin landed. Dolphin have also been a steady catch and some wahoo have been introduced in.
