The climate was not as good these days as it has been just lately. Thunderstorms struck offshore this afternoon, and it rained inshore for the most part of the day. The temperatures had been in the low 80’s with a wind blowing out of the south east at 5-ten mph.

Seaside Fishing slowed down some right now as we only heard of spanish mackerel, and bluefish at the level. As properly as some sea mullet and pompano on the south beach.

Inshore charter guides had a fairly sluggish day as well. They reported only catching bluefish nowadays.

Scattered catches of sea mullet, pompano, croaker and spot have been caught up and down the beach in Buxton and Frisco. Down at the Hatteras Inlet, the bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing was very good utilizing lures. A few flounder and pompano also caught on bait. Inshore, the boats caught speckled trout, blue fish, spanish mackerel and flounder. The offshore fleet had great dolphin and wahoo fishing. A few black fin tuna mixed in. 4 sail fish introduced nowadays.
