Nowadays was wonderful and sunny with some afternoon showers and warmer temperatures. The winds were from the south-east switching to the south-west in the afternoon. Cape Stage had a real very good drum bite real late previous night and early this early morning. They must be there yet again tonight. The Frisco beach had a couple of bluefish, sea mullet and black drum. Down at Hatteras Inlet the bluefish bite was very good. The inshore boats had excellent speckled trout and gray trout. Only one boat fishing offshore these days and they caught 10 wahoo and a few black bout tuna and bailer dolphin.
