One of those magic days on the water on the Reef. We even got 9 Nannygai’s on one drift. Phenomenal weather to top off an awesome day and some of the best reef fishing ever!! We had to leave the fish biting and filled the icebox in a couple of drifts. Insane Fishing most definately, and when these deep spots fire, some of the best reef fishing you’ll see. Unreel fishing Trip!! Reds, Nanngyai, & Mackerel!!
www.reefari.com Another top day with a great catch of reef fish, including Red Emperor, Nannygai, Sweetlip, coral trout, and a double hookup on Spanish Mackerel,. Perfect Weather and great company, definately hard to beat with some real quality fish caught. Note the Humpback whale as well tail slapping, heap of whales about for the next couple of month, and Spanish Mackerel as well, getting a couple on most trips when we try for them. While I’m addicted to sight fishing the flats I also like to mix it up on occasion, so on this trip I pointed the flats boat out the jetties and headed 38 miles out in search of Red Snapper, we found them and five other species in what turned out to be an incredible day of fishing. I know my and my boats abilities, we were perfectly safe at all times and had a great day on the water.
