The following is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Well right now was about like yesterday. We had sunny skies and gentle north-east winds close to five mph. The temperatures ended up in the higher sixty′s. The weather was excellent today. We had gentle south-west winds at 5 mph and the temperatures have been in the mid sixty′s. Down around the Buxton beach front there had been a number of speckled trout and some sea mullet caught. All around Cape Level there had been some bluefish and a handful of puppy drum. The Frisco beach front was genuine excellent these days with a tiny little bit of everything. We had bluefish, blow toads, a citation sea mullet caught by Robert Rzasa of Hummelstown PA , a couple of black drum and pup drum. Nicely, offshore these days fishing was truly good. Not the wahoo motion from yesterday but the king mackerel fishing is nevertheless on fireplace. Mild deal with dead bait or reside baiting king mackerel fishing, it does not get any a lot more exciting and exiting than that. Captain Michelle Drake and Jeff of "The Regulation" fishing had watched the climate for a couple of days. Finally, they obtained a very good report. Michelle checked all the gear and set the alarm for 5:thirty am Sunday early morning. After missing the alarm, they didn’t get a line in until finally 10:55. A black bout was on before they acquired the 2nd line deployed. Then with four lines out, a 2nd black bout hit. There have been a few more strikes, then the big a single strike.
That is when points got exciting. Michelle fought the wahoo to the boat. When the fish surfaced she appeared for Jeff. He was searching for gloves. So Michell wrapped the rod amongst her legs, held it against the combing pads, and started leadering the fish. The gaff was in the rod holder. The with the leader in the correct hand, the gaff in the left and the rod wrapped around her legs, Michell gaffed the wahoo! Jeff arrived just in time to assist hoist the fish in the boat. Michelle was shaking as tough as the wahoo.
Michelle can brag about staying the 1st mate, the angler and catching the wahoo on a rig Jeff had complained about from the time Michelle made it until the fish hit it.
The Regulation crew headed to Doc Holidays with tuna, Bonita and a 65+ pound 66 inch wahoo. The draw back is they weren’t in the Hook A Hoo or in the Rodeo.

Red Drum Tackle shop fishing report, Buxton 11-22
Lots of Speckled Trout caught nowadays just north of Frisco Pier. Most have been in the twelve inch array but there ended up also a number of keepers caught. One more Lovely day on the OBX these days, Heard of Big drum at the stage this morning,Than the sharks ruled the rest of the day. Trout Still abundant from buxton to hatteras. Black drum on the northern beaches together with tiny bluefish. Puffers even now staying caught in the hook and on south seaside.Off shore even now limits of king mackerel being caught. Good climate and calm seas created for a good day fishing. Two massive drums ended up noted caught at the position right now. The offshore fleet had nice catches of yellowfin tuna. There were a number of limits of yellowfin tuna brought in to the docks. Releases of white marlin and a sailfish ended up reported as well. Nearshore there had been tautogs caught and our light tackle fleet noted great speckled trout fishing.

The nearshore fleet noted great sea bass fishing today. We had a citation sea bass wieghed in at 4 lbs 2 ounces at the fish house. Our offshore fleet had an additional great day of tuna fishing with some limits of yellowfin tun reported.

There had been some scattered yellowfin tuna and a handful of blackfin tuna caught right now together with a number of gaffer dolphins on our offshore fleet. A citation blue marlin was caught and introduced these days as properly. Our nearshore boats brought in some wonderful sea bass, triggerfish, bluefish and a flounder. Our inshore boat introduced in a very great twenty five lb. striper. Great to see any fish but specifically nice to see the striper coming in to the inlet.

Fishing Report 11-20-2011 Live Line
I had Kint, Michael, Tetsu and Winny arrive down from NY with Bookfishingtrips.com for 1 day of deep jigging. The trip out was a small bumpy due to the swell left from NE winds on Sat. We ran to the south hunting for some AJs and 1st drift marked fish from the top to the bottom. There was no existing and 1st drop was eaten on the way down which was the excellent information but the negative news was the sharks ended up just about everywhere and hungry. We hooked fish all day extended and battled the sharks. I am not positive if it was because of to the absence of latest but no make a difference where we hooked fish the sharks identified us. We did deal with to land a few very good fish. Also Mike had a couple nice Yellow Mouth grouper and Kint landed a good Black bout. I was making an attempt to hook a fish for Winny and observed a school of Mantas go under the boat and 3 guesses what I foul hooked. When it started out attempting to operate I broke off the leader. Later on in the day we had had ample of the sharks and went in shore for some grouper. We stopped and forty five miles and the 1st drift we had a wonderful Red Grouper and a 15 lb Gag. Also had a great deal of Grunts/Sea Bass and Pinkys.
