Islamorada Pretty Work Report – yellowtails, macks and blackfin tuna – 3/15/11
With many knots of SW present the bottom was just not practical so we discovered that heavy chum was the ticket to catching the nicer Flag Yellow Tails, which ranged up to 5 lbs. Along with them yellowtails we also discovered some true great high quality Mangrove Snappers ranging up to five kilos. Both boats observed good catches of King Mackeral and a lot of Cero Mackeral on the lures. Pretty Work managed to locate them offshore one particular day and observed some good Dolphin and a single nice Wahoo. The Blackfin Tuna also discovered themselves pushed within in about 190 to 280 feet of h2o and could be caught on feathers and skipping a Ballyhoo from the Kite. Oh ya, and they also caught a Sailfish they have been couple of and far between as of late as they seemed to be held up above rather excellent thou. Thats Right closed the weekend out with a real great catch of Tails and some true wonderful Hogfish. The days were filled with regular action. Capt. Jeff and Gary got the Center Console out this weekend and found a great catch of Blackfin Tuna and a number of schoolie Dolphin. The gang then put in some time on the reef edge and managed a actual wonderful catch of Yellow tails and a number of bottom fish.
The back again region is creating some actual wonderful Tarpon!! The guys have been starting to uncover some tremendous great days with a lot of bites from true significant Tarpon both on the Fly and cut baits on the bottom in the course of the cold front. The Speckled Trout are becoming a small smaller and the Red fish have been chewing! The two Captain Jeff and Captain Clyde have observed genuine great Pompano this week which is excellent dinner fare. The mackerels are still snapping and delivering tremendous action on the 4 and 6lb check. The Cobia are still popping up on the wrecks. They did get a bit finicky this week for some purpose. The guys are also obtaining lots of Ladyfish and Jacks to fill the day!!

In$ufi$hent Fund$ Bahamas Trip, Incredible! 3/12/2011
Day One:
We started off by anchoring and chumming the reef which was followed up by High-pace jigging the ledge.
Notable catches for day a single had been a 52lb king, 30lb wahoo, some large Ajs, some wonderful yellow tails, and two respectable groupers.
Day Two:
Day two was most likely one of the biggest days of fishing on the Insufishent Money. We started off with a prolonged run to the matanilla Reef on the north aspect of Grand Bahama wherever we were greeted with really slick seas. We started out by drifting baits and bouncing jigs for grouper and snappers but rapidly seen a school of Blackfins had popped up a few of hundred yards away. We started out casting the Shimano Wax Wings and Sting-o PBJ Jigs at them and landed 4 out of about six hookups. After that calmed down we had our 1st pod of Mahi roll in and we went 4 for 6 on them. This is where the Wax Wing Shined the Mahi could not turn down the action of the lure. Following that calmed down we were cleaning up the carnage on the decks when we had a pack of really huge Wahoos arrive right up to the starboard aspect of the boat. This is where it obtained crazy! We hooked two of the really big Hoos , one particular on a Wax Wing JR on a Bait runner 4000 and one on a Sting-o PBJ a hundred and fifty Jig on a Stella 8000 each of which had been obviously out matched. We pulled the hook on the Stella after a blistering run around the boat practically decapitating my crew. Then we had the Bait runner down to 3 wraps of the 30lb braid before we gunned the Venture to regained line. The new bait runner 4000 handled the battle flawlessly and right after 45 minutes of chasing the fish, a 65lb Hoo was brought to gaff. Also a specific tahnks to AFW for some seriously difficult tieable wire. A few of Snapper and Triggers later on we were exhausted and on our trip back to Bootle Bay.
Day Three:
We were only going to be fishing a fifty percent day because we had to run back again and catch flights that night so we made a decision to anchor at memory rock and fish the reef. When we acquired there we had a terrible wind in opposition to tide and just couldnt genuinely get anything at all heading so we made a decision to drift the reef rather. We picked at minor groupers and snappers until the very last drift when we acquired covered up in Mahi again and the circus act started out. We ended up landing four of the 7 we hooked and end our trip sturdy. The Bahamas are an amazing place with tons of life and great people
