Carolina Time Report
Nicely it has been a while considering that my last report but the following goes. Lets start with the REELIN FOR Study tournament there was around $ a hundred,000.00 raised for these children & the fishing heated up just in time. We had our exact same ole rowdy crowd once again this year we might not have weighed in a fish but they had a large time as often. We had a box total of Mahi but none large adequate to win. We left early Tuesday morning headed for Hatteras to fish the Hatteras Village Open. Day one was a butt kicker with 14 foot seas and twenty-25 knots of wind to go with it and the only thing we had to show for it was a pulled of Spear Fish that was just about the dimension of the bait he bit. We took our lay day Thursday & fished Friday only to see one particular really uncooperative fish. Our final day was Saturday and we lastly came tight on a 300# fish but as luck would have it she arrived un hooked so we licked our wounds and arrived residence Saturday evening.
Well these days was a new day we had the boss fishing once again with us today after a extended tournament week & we scored massive on all the Huge Mahi you could want in twenty Fathoms of h2o. We pushed on out to the deep hunting for the elusive Marlin that had averted us all week and boy did we uncover her. Just as we just acquiring relaxed & letting our guard down huge explosion on short rigger and it was game on!! Massive Hole Bent Pole!!! Following a speedy battle Garred grabbed the leader on a 350 – 400 pound fish and created a clear release on her. I should say it was nice to go catching instead of fishing today. I will attempt to get some photographs & video clip up of her tomorrow. We have a quite active 2 months ahead of us but I will attempt to maintain the reports up to date.
