by Capt. Joe Shute
07-29-2011: Capt. Joe’s now has a new page on the web-web site. "Capt’s feedback and Activities". .Check out the Capt’s Remarks and Activities about the proposed sulfer plant that is headed for the port . The smelting plant has been stopped, but there could be a quite large storage fascility coming for the dy pettetized sulfur which is extremely flamable and will even now have that terrible odor. The winds look like they are going to cooperate for the offshore fishing this weekend. the winds are meant to be 5-10 and the seas around 2-3 ft. The white marlin and sailfishing fishing has been pretty very good. The white marlin bite has been north of theBig Rock and the sailfish bite has been wherever fro the Sea Bouy to the Big Rock. There has also been fair good dolphin fishing and a scattered amount of wahoo. The Spanish mackerel fishing has slowed down some because last weekend, but the winds have been fairly undesirable this week, so ideally the Spanish fishing will choose up in the course of this forthcoming fairly weekend. The red drum fishing has slowed up a excellent bit back in the marsh. Could be due to really sizzling h2o and higher winds.
