Canyon Runner Stripers Snaping On Tuesday – New Friday – Saturday Open Boat Canyon Date

The strong striper fishing continued this week with trips for each boats on Tuesday. The 60 Ritchie Howell with Captain Phil Dulanie on the wheel had the Pete Minoti charter out for the early morning journey and 2nd captain Jay Riccardella was in the pit with the hours. They located some bunker early on just outside of Manasquan and filled up the livewell with adequate of the day in about an hour of bunker snagging. They then looked down the beach for some fish and began acquiring bites. Regrettably not all the bites held tight. They completed the day with about twenty five bites but only arrived tight on a dozen putting 7 in the boat. All the bass ended up once again nice fish in the 20-35 pound class.

On the 48 on Tuesday the early morning journey with Capt. Mark DeBlasio at the helm and the Craig Knaup charter on the boat equivalent motion was observed with out twenty five bass taken the boat and nine coming to the boat with the fish once more all in the 20-35 pound class. It was the afternoon trip that noticed the best action of the 12 months so far although. The Troy and Tracy Seaton charter had over forty bites on these large bass which again for the charter proved elusive on the hook up as not virtually as several arrived to the boat. But that explained – they all had a blast on these fish and went residence with loads of meat.

Canyon Update
Word of yellowfin in the Washington Canyon and the Block Canyon so points are falling into place properly. We had a cancellation of a trip on June 17-eighteen so we are now heading to run another scarce Friday – Saturday open boat trip for a Father’s Day Weekend Special on on the 48 Viking with Capt.
