Canyon Runner 60 Reports – More White & 35 Yellowfin Trips – Only 2 Dates Left Until Sept
Capt. Kobey Treadwell, Capt. Jay Richardella and William Howell had the Peter Schoels charter who booked equally boats our Wednesday and they ran to the Hudson Canyon. Fishing about the flip to the east on just what turned out to be a day troll due to undesirable climate coming in for the night time they picked absent at 10 yellowfin in the 30-50 pound class. The yellowfin (particularily the biggers ones) virtually totally ate Canyon Runner Squid and Green Device Spreader Bars.

Adam LaRosa ran the 60 Ritchie Howelll with Ritchie and William Howell, John Timken, Brad Burgess, Matt Hanifee and Jay Richardella. With the marlin crew on the boat we concentrated the whole trip on pulling dredges and white marlin and it started out just as planned. Pulling into the Hudson at 12:30am on Friday we had our first white launch in 15 minutes and were two/three within the initial 2.5 hours. It was challenging sticking it out while listening to Mark and the 48 crush the tuna to our east but we hung restricted inshore but never picked yet another white the rest of the day. We ran about to Mark for the night bite and pulled 3 nice yellowfin on the chunk. Up on the morning troll we nonetheless place out the marlin spread but couldnt get the dredges in the drinking water for 1 hour. Just pulling four ballyhoo and the two squid chain teasers we had 18 yellowfin in 45 minutes and a whole of 31 for the morning. In simple fact, in the initial 45 minutes we had eight-10 yellowfin swimming under every single squid chain and attacking it as it hung from the riggers and Will Howell was choosing them off on the jig pulling six or 7 just jigging. We ended up with 35 yelllowfin, two white and a bunch of good mahi.
