Also, Puppy DRUM, FLOUNDER, BLUEFISH, some wonderful SPANISH MACKEREL jumping close to toward the stop, and SEA MULLET! ……….. Congratulations to PAT & FRANK POTTER (Benson, NC)–COOLER of SPOTS ………….. The EMERALD ISLE Seaside Bike WEEKEND was a exciting good results yet again (for the 7th year!) ………….. We pick the 1st weekend following LABOR DAY for the festivities simply because it is kind’a the lull among the Summer season Period and FALL FISHING Time! ………….. Specific many thanks to SAM SHIPP (Ballyhoo’s Sports Grill) who was the organizer this 12 months he did a great work without wanting to leap off the pier! ………… Many thanks to all who came this weekend, we could not do it without having you! …………….. Shifting along to FISHING, we are seeing some truly wonderful SPOTS starting up to present up, with POMPANO and BLUEFISH! ……….. Hurricane KANIA missed, as will MARIA, but it has stirred up the bottom, and we just are not seeing the BAITFISH that we noticed last week…………… The weather is predicted to cool off into the mid-70’s by the stop of this week that should provide the water temperature down to acceptable fishing temperatures (latest temp. is 79*– many thanks Dr. Bogus!) …………. We are in the process of deciding the substance listing for the for each re-build the subsequent phase is to get all set to set in a lacking piling and restore some cross braces lost in Hurricane Irene. ………… We will start these repairs instantly following SPOT Year, so never feel we will be in your way……….. we specifically require this time to help shell out for the rebuild! ………..
