I guess miracles do transpire in the fishing business with a 20-25 kt. SW wind, there was a KING STRIKE that yielded an AIR SHOT! ………… I joked with someone that it possibly was just swimming among the SWELLS! ………… Fishing in any other case has been slow, but just adequate to keep individuals out there interested! …………. BLUEFISH, SPOTS, SEA MULLET, FLOUNDER, and an occasional SPANISH MACKEREL are coming up, despite the fact that really sporadic! …………. This is the time for coming to EI to damp a hook and enjoy the cooler breeze that the ocean retains at a steady pace! ……….. Congratulations to RAY PARENTEAU (Brown Summit, NC)–two lb. fifteen oz. FLOUNDER …………. and SEDNEY BARWANIETZ (Berlin, Germany)–PINFISH ……………. Not several pics this time of year, despite the fact that it really is kind’a unpredictable when the SPOTS and other bottom feeders will pick up and just take off! ………… The Drinking water TEMPERATURE is 83* (many thanks Dr. Bogus [ ncoif.com ] ) and we are planning for the BUDDY PELLETIER LONGBOARD Classic this coming weekend! ………. Ideally, the waves will cooperate for this opposition, although there are so a lot of different pursuits planned which could carry the weekend if the drinking water dried up! ………..
