Bluewater report Saturday 11/26/11
I was pumped up, due to the fact you cant defeat catching tuna on a jig! Continued to Jig the region with far more results, but blue was the only coloration they in which hitting, and I had the only blue jig on the boat. -)
Also jigged up some of the greatest sharks Ive noticed in a prolonged time, and the normal Ajs.
Hit them very good for awhile, and following we had 4 in the box we put out the wahoo spread once more due to the fact a boat hooked up with a double wahoo header just 200 yards from us. Inside of five minutes of acquiring the unfold out we had a wonderful strike, the fish ought to have peeled twenty yards of line off, than disappeared. We reeled in a bent hook Continued to troll with no motion following this.
So we went back to the jigging. Ran into much more trash fish and falsies. So with only a little bite of time left we stored the falsies and went to go do what we do greatest!
Ran about 10 miles in to some deep-h2o grouper holes. We identified them -)
three nice wahoo than confirmed up beneath the boat, so we messed with them for a sound ten minutes. They wherever established not to consume, and it was in a few minutes of that, that a tiger shark longer than the width of the boat showed up. He was remarkable to watch, and probably somewhere about five hundred pounds, and 12 ft long.
We also caught a bunch of set off, grunts, pinkies, and big b-liners we had to release :-/
Made the decision to pack up and hit the throttles property. Slick seas produced it easy to run in at fifty five mph, with a lot more throttle left to give. I experience asleep in the beanbag, and I am rather certain it was sore arms for everybody on the boat! All in all, an wonderful day with constant action for everyone on the boat. Tons of exciting, and thats what its all about! ☺
