beatin’ up on the tuna !
pulled out tuesday nite -eleven:45pm,we cleared the inlet for a rapidly moonlit trip to the promised, land – slick relaxed seas and a brite moon – produced for a quick trip
56nm later,right after searching the edge for symptoms of daily life,bait,was spotted on the fishfinder – anchor was dropped – 20mins afterwards,two 40lb class yellowfin ended up in the boat – the bite continued – we had the biggest point actually – a flying fish was swimming close to the boat – rich netted him,dropped him on a stay bait rig – 5mins later,that rod was screaming with the initial bluefin…cool huh ?
we had fish on sardines,butterfish,flying fish – and jigs…pink sardine type butterfly jigs
gave my new OTI spin jigger a great operate out – can not say ample excellent about that arranged up – saragosa 18000f,OTI 5’2" rod,80lb jb hollow core – leading shot of 60lb floro…the strain you cna put on a big fish is insane – challenging to think…my buddy nelson,doubted the capacity of that rod – right after observing me kick the crap out of a 50lb class yellowfin,he was a transformed man – following jigging a fish up with the rod and combating it,he was impressed
feel he liked it far better than my twelve/20 everol and a shimano jig stick

entire for the day was limit catch of yellowfin and bluefin – one mahi…
we lost a few fish – and had a humback swim underneath the boat which is an awsome site
excellent to have a day off…
