Excellent fishing out there nowadays…the morning was a little gradual but by the afternoon the barometric
stress dropped and the fish have been chewing massive time. The Beringer’s pictured below caught numerous
wonderful redfish and a few huge bonnet head sharks until we were chased in by a storm. The motion did not
stop there as I went fly fishing late in the afternoon and caught three monster redfish on the fly!. This
fish pictured over was the largest of the 3 that I caught and it put my ten wt. Sage Xi3 to the check!

What a way to begin the journey off this morning with a triple header of massive redfish. My consumers were
trilled and these were there most significant redfish they had ever before caught! It was also the initial fish for the

09-22-2011: Capt. Joe’s now has a new page on the net-internet site. &quotCapt’s feedback and Occasions&quot. .Offshore wahoo fishing is still really scorching. Most of the wahoo bites have been down to the south all around the Rise and the Swansboro Hole region. But there have been great catches all around the Large Rock area. North Carolina DNR fishing report 9-21

For the week of Sept. 18

Ocean: Dolphin, wahoo, Atlantic bonito, little tunny and the two, blackfin and yellowfin tuna hit the docks in great figures. Anglers continued to release plenty of sailfish and equally, blue and white marlin. Anglers fishing in the midrange area caught a number of striped bass and red drum close to 4 – 5 miles offshore. Artificial reefs offered a handful of sheepshead, black drum, tautog and spadefish. Near shore motion was limited by tough seas, but favorable climate situations did yield good figures of bluefish with a few Spanish mackerel. Flounder, spotted seatrout and red drum had been caught with improved regularity.

Inlets/Seems/Bays: Flounder ended up caught on a standard basis with favorable keeper ratios in most locations. Shallow locations around shorelines and islands continued to yield the bulk of the catches. Spotted seatrout were caught in the early morning hours in the Roanoke Audio off of the Small Bridge and underneath the Washington Baum Bridge dropping off sharply about mid-early morning. Spot, croaker and kingfish have been caught in reasonable amounts.

Piers/Shore: Bluefish blitzing occurred for individuals that had been fortunate enough to be there at the appropriate time. Coolers ended up crammed with spot, alongside with moderate quantities of pompano, kingfish, croaker and pigfish. A number of cobia ended up caught off the stop of piers soon after dark.

SOUTHERN

Inshore

With the modern Northerly winds, spots are starting up to run in the waterway and surf. Blues are hitting in the same places. Flounder fishing has picked up with some fish heading as large as 9lbs 10ozs. Redfish have been cruising the surf as properly as in the creeks. Speckled trout activity has elevated but no big catches have been documented. Spanish should nevertheless be alongside the seashores.

Around Shore

9-21-eleven all the tuna they wanted
The weather conditions was significantly less than perfect when we departed this morning. The bar was lumpy and we ran into major rain showers most of the way out. We failed to know what to assume since we had not fished in numerous days. It turned out to be a lovely day. The rain stopped by the time we reached the fishing grounds and the tuna bit quite effectively. By 1pm our crew mentioned they had been content with the catch and had been all set to head in. Thank you to Kayla White, Jay Lafler, Danny Chapin, Doug Chapin, and Craig Small. Glad it turned out to be this kind of a wonderful day.

9-22-11 limit of tuna and mahi
What a amazing day. Lots of fish and entertaining. Our anglers included Daniel Easter, Bernie Daniels, Tim Winston, Nicole Whelan, Ryan Easter,and Paul Cattone from Raleigh and Richmond. We caught a restrict of mahi, and a limit of tuna. Which is a great deal of meat but these men have big ideas for it. Some will feed the crew at thier vacation seaside property tonight. Many thanks men, hope you will arrive with us yet again.

nine/twenty…..Still catching pompano and spots…..a minor wetter today…..doesnt appear to make a variation…..crowd not so lousy….. guess they are afraid of a little rain…..I have heard they have caught 2 kings down at the Jolly Rogers today…..guess if you want kings thats in which you want to be….Congrats to them…..We nevertheless have a great deal of bait….clean shrimp and bloodworms and plenty of rainsuits if you forget about yours…..

Canyon Runner Quick Report & Open Dates – 50+ Yellowfin on Chunk to 110 Pounds
