Capt Joe Shutes Bait and Tackle report, Atlantic Beach 7-13

Fishing Report
by Capt. Joe Shute

07-08-2011: Capt. Joe’s now has a new page on the net-web site. &quotCapt’s remarks and Occasions&quot. New No cost seminar scheduled! Well unfortunately it appears like the winds are likely to carry on for this weekend. The offshore report is that the winds are heading to be SW twenty-30 , six-ten ft, seas, so it seems like most will be fishing inshore this weekend. The Spanish Mackerel bite has even now been good just along the shorelines and inside of Beaufort Inlet. Making use of lighter leaders and smaller sized baits will get you a lot more action. The Spanish are doing work on really little bait and it is often tough to get a troll bite. Casting small spoons and spec rigs will improve your probabilities of catching Spanish. If the wind and waves will allow you, there are great opportunities to catch more substantial Spanish and some king mackerel in and all around Beaufort Inlet making use of live menhaden and dwell mullet. All around Bardens Inlet as effectively as the synthetic reefs are very good places to appear as well. The red drum bite has been extremely productive for us this week. We have been discovering reds in the 20 to thirty inch class in a few spots again within the marsh. I am not sure what all the rani from this weekend will do to the drum bite. When the boats have made it offshore they are even now catching dolphin as nicely as white marlin, sailfish and a couple of blue marlin. bottom fishing continues to be great for grouper, triggerfish and black sea bass. Will not forget about our &quotFREE&quot red drum seminars next Saturday July the 16th at the Crystal Coast Civic Center. My-self and Capt. Gary Dubiel will be going above various methods for catching red drum and the old red drum in the Pamlico Sound. We still have some seats accessible. If you are interested, just phone Capt. JoeShute’s Bait &amp Tackle and we will include your title to a single of the classes.

Bite Me report , Manteo 7-13

July 11th Report

Postby Captain Jay Kavanagh » Mon Jul 11, 2011 five:15 pm
make up trip aboard the bite me today, Dan and Max, Eric and Isais, Steve and Prosperous.

Identified the Sailfish balling bait and hooked and caught one, 8 12 months previous Max on the rod for the very first 1.

Shortly soon after we caught another sail, this time it was Eric’s flip.

Then we went searching for dolphin, ultimately following catching some bigger gaffers, we located the motherload, and restricted out on good excess fat bailers!

We turned back to exactly where we caught our first sail of the day, and 1 ate my long rigger.

Steve on the rod this time for a fiesty Sail!

3 sails and a restrict of dolphin on a slick relaxed day!

Max even drove the boat house for me!

Thank you men.
